Disappointing
This is a second floor walk-up with parking behind in the alley. We arrived after dark and there were no instructions on how to enter the property from the alley. So me, four children and all of our stuff migrated around the block to the front door. The front door was difficult to unlock and the blinds at the door were broken and unwelcoming. Since we arrived late we made our beds and went to sleep. The next morning I discovered that although shampoo, conditioner and coffee was "provided", we did not have any shampoo and the coffee only made two pots. Completely aware that there were 5 of us staying 3 nights, we only had 3 forks!! Looking for forks, I discovered that the dishes in the dishwasher were still dirty from the previous tenants! After further investigation, it was because the dishwasher did not work. I texted the owner and let them know that I needed more forks, shampoo, and more coffee (since surely they were coming to bring forks). I also told them the dishwasher wasn't working. After I received a question on whether the dishwasher was plugged in and detailed instructions on how to load and start a dishwasher, I sent a video of me pushing nonresponsive buttons. There was no promise of rectifying any of this but I assumed they would bring forks. NOPE!! We were gone both days and nothing was brought. I sent a sarcastic text thanking them for responding so diligently the second evening and they responded, "You're very welcome. Let us know if you need anything else!"
