I came from dayton Ohio did check in 7:45 had 7 hrs drive and The front desk white American girl is so rude and didn’t get any kind of help not even show the direction from where I need to find the room, I think she was not in mood to work or what I don’t know. I made the reservation for the good quality room with good bathroom there are everything bad. I always use Expedia for my stay but this time I’m not satisfied at all there is heavy snow here that’s why I’m not able to go any other place for a night. Don’t want to stay but needs to do now. Kindly give me my half refund if possible.

We stayed in the winter after going to Tahquamenon Falls. The staff was friendly and helpful. The fireplace in the room made the heat almost unnecessary! The restaurant had a limited menu for the winter but it was good! We would return!

We stayed in the off season( a snowy weekend in late November). Check in employee was friendly and efficient. Our room was 327- parking lot view instead of lake. Nothing fancy at all but clean. Hallways are a little tired looking. This is a no smoking and no pet property but there was a strong smell of marijuana in our hallway and we heard a dog barking on the main floor. We got about 8 inches of snow overnight and they were snowplowing the lot… not plowing😜

The place is an absolute dump. The beds were a crazy-high pile of mattress and box spring and bed base. I am 5-9 and the platform mattress top was as high as my waist. There was NO hot water. When I asked about it later they explained it was because our room was the furthest from the hot water heaters and very few people were staying there... so it would take up to 30 minutes for the hot water to reach the room. The table chairs were without ANY seat support... so when you sat down in them, the table was about chin height. It's just a crazy old place in an incredible state of disrepair. They should shut down and sell for the real estate value.
