Confused

Hi. I didn't want to leave this in a review but VRBO I can't find another way to message you directly. The house was a very nice house but it might be time for you to find a new cleaning lady. There was a layer of Dust and sand on everything, everything was dirty. The bathtub was disgusting. There were dead bugs all in the pots and pans and tupperware. And when I got dishes out of the cabinet they were soaking wet.The front door wasn't even locked when we got there. That didn't make me feel safe. And when I tried to message for a late check out no one got back to me. I'm very disappointed in this experience

4th getaway

Lovely little house in a convenient location. Parking information needs to be updated as there is no gravel and everyone parks on the paving stones. This was the most well-stocked rental we have ever stayed at.

Nice place to stay

This is a cute little spot that is walking distance to the beach. Me and my family and our dog enjoyed our stay. The house is a bit on the small side for 6 people and a dog, but we made it work. The house was clean for the most part, but the pull-out couch had dirt and sand in it and the mattress looked like it hadn't been cleaned. Another thing, it's not really a downside but more of a surprise, was the 1960's wall oven. It took us a few minutes to figure it out, but we got it. Would recommend this place to smaller families or couples.

Funeral

Checking in was a snap the place was nice and clean. Beads where fine fresh sheets shower was hot A/C was cold. Took a little while to figure out what remote out of the five to use. Key pad was hard to read needs some cleaning. Should most definitely invest in a monthly pest control service. Florida is notorious for roaches they only came out at night and only found them on the kitchen floor a bug service is needed.

Perfect, Cozy, Simple, Beach Bungalow

We came to enjoy some sun, warmth and ride our motorcycles because there was still a foot of snow at home. This was the perfect central location for day trips to explore the area and the beach was a short walk away. The neighborhood feels safe and the locals (and their dogs) totally became our friends! The house was perfect for breakfast each morning before we went exploring and it was a bonus to have a washer and dryer. We enjoyed the local restaurants most nights but took advantage of the barbeque, patio table and umbrella one evening. We truly had a wonderful stay.

Crescent Beach Cottage

Just perfect for the two of us. The fenced yard was perfect for our dog. The location was great with easy access to all areas. The kitchen is a little tight if you are planning to fix every meal but who does that on a holiday? Restaurants aplenty.

Crescent Beach Bungalow

After speaking to the property manager, it appears the listing photographs needs updating. (ie No bunk beds, no stove) The photos from both houses on the property were combined. Nonetheless, it was the PERFECT little get a away. Immaculate in cleanliness and everything you could need to enjoy your time in the area. We can't wait to book again, closer to summer so we can enjoy the beach!!

Awesome.

We really enjoyed staying in the Bungalow in St. Augustine, Florida. It was so clean and nice. I loved that it had a grill and a yard. It really had everything we needed and would have wanted for our stay. The walk to the beach was so short and convenient. The people that helped us check in was super friendly. We absolutely loved our stay & we hope to stay again very soon!!

Family vacation

Quaint, charming cottage, easily walkable to the beautiful beach! Short drive to historic downtown St Augustine, with so much for our whole family to enjoy. Wonderful trip! We would love to return.

I almost don’t want to say how great the location was for fear we’ll never get to book it again. Great place and incredible location. We spent the whole time at the beach thats within a VERY short walk (probably 60yds). Really happy with the place and will definitely be back! I do recommend bringing a wagon if you plan to spend a lot of time at the beach so you can just haul it easier that way.

Awesome beach vacation

This place was exactly as advertised. It is two blocks from a place to fish on the river and two blocks away from a beautiful and comfortable beach on the Atlantic. We were very pleased with the location which is about 10 minutes from downtown St Augustine and most every thing you will want to do is within that drive. The cottage is located in a very comfortable neighborhood within walking distance of restaurants, a convenience store, a pet supply store, and an ice cream shop. Traffic and noise are at a minimum. The house itself is very comfortable with all of the conveniences you could want. Sidenote: my wife loved cooking on the vintage stove. We brought our dog and were pleased to see the fenced yard where he could run freely, with supervision of course. We were also pleasantly surprised that the entire neighborhood was pet friendly. Needless to say, we hope to visit this place again. You will not be disappointed.

Nice little cootage

House is very cute, my kids (4 years old twins) loved the box full of toys they found in the guess bedroom. Location is nice. Me and my husband would have loved a TV in the master, just 1 tv is not enough for a family with kids, but the tv in livingroom was a nice big size and the sound sistem was wonderfull. The grass in the backyard was long, somebody took care of it 4 days later but i wish it was cut before our arrival. little details that are easy fix. Overall, good place, we would come back again.

Good (cold) beach getaway

Crescent Beach is a cute little community -- this cottage is just over 2 blocks to the beach, and 1 block from the river (beautiful sunsets!). The cottage layout is a little awkward but it works. The bed is very comfortable, once we figured out the TV remotes the TV was great, and cottage was equipped with all the kitchen stuff you need. It was super cold this past weekend but still nice to walk on the beach and wake up early to watch the sunrise.
