Bear Haus is a very well loved family home that the owner continues to update and work on all the time! Him and his family love to come up and enjoy all things Tahoe. This 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom home sleeps 6 total and has parking for up to 3 cars. This is an older home that has only a few updates so we have it affordably priced and would consider it an economy home. Come stay at this comfortable family home!

The following laws were set forth by the county and apply to every home in Tahoe. They were put in place to keep Lake Tahoe an enjoyable and safe place to visit for years to come!
1. 10pm - 8am is the county quiet time for all rentals.
2. Trash cannot be left outside and must go into the bear box.
3. We cannot host extra people or allow parties.
4. We cannot accomodate extra cars, parking on the street or dirt.
5. PLEASE NOTE: Neighbors may alert the police who will issue fines to guests found to be in violation. In order to protect this owner’s permit we do reserve the right to ask guests to leave this home. This is a very rare occurrence and one we hate doing so we do our best to warn our guests before it comes to this.
6. The number of overnight occupants shall not exceed two persons per permitted bedroom. Children six years of age or older are counted towards the occupancy limits.
Interaction with Guests:
You will check in by going right to the home using our keyless entry system. Your door code is the last 4 digits of your booking phone number followed by the check mark button that will activate at 4pm. Make sure to pull the door toward you when you put the code in to ensure the deadbolt is aligned. We have a 24 hour customer care team and a local team available during business hours.

The property was run down and in disrepair. The picture of property on line doesn't look the same in reality. We planned a BBQ with family. The BBQ was dirty, rusty and would not light. The screen door glass fell on my Sons' neck and back. Luckily it didnt break. There was a partially empty, large bottle of vodka on top of the refrigerator. This is triggering for some people, once seen. Stained carpets in some areas. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean. The kitchen was clean. They outside was very run down and disrepair.

House has mice
The house has mice. The first morning, there was a mouse in the toilet bowl, which was frightening to see. There were droppings in a bucket in the bathroom and on the kitchen counters. There was a leak in front of the fridge, and the couch on patio deck was dirty. I reported the above to the property manager the first morning of our stay and received a response someone would be out to assist me. No one ever came out to assist or put mouse traps. The following night, we saw two mice, one in the master bedroom and the other in the billiard room. There were mice droppings on the kitchen counters each morning that we had to clean and the mice nibbled on food left on counter one night. On third night, there were mouse droppings on the pool table.The morning we checked out I notified the property management of the above and requested a refund of the cleaning and service fee since I was not provided neither during my stay. It’s been two days of back and forth communication with the property management and them initially expressing they appreciate and value feedback and would make it right, to being defensive and expressing they never had issues at this property. The positive about the property is the check in process was smooth once provided house key code. The house is spacious with 4 rooms, 3 full bathrooms, and a billiard room.

Overall awesome! We worked the ACC golf tournament all day every day and this was a great place to come home to relax. Great for families or groups who aren’t related. Plenty of room for everyone…very quiet neighborhood…great value! Would recommend and stay here again!
