Visit to RI

We booked the house for the weekend to see our daughter graduate from URI. The house looked exactly how it the pictures presented. It was clean and perfect for our family, we had nine people with us. The yard and deck were great for sitting out and it was easy to get to the places that we needed to get to. The owner was great and communicated everything we needed to stay. We had the best time doing a puzzle throughout the stay even during a busy weekend. We have left the puzzle in hopes that other families will sit together, laugh and have a great time as a family.

Football Weekend

We came down to RI with family and friends to see my son perform in the URI marching band. This house was one of the most well appointed houses I have ever rented. It was clean, cozy, & comfortable. The owners have thought of everything from toilet paper to wood for the fire pit!! The house manual was well written with clear instructions especially for the hot tub, which was glorious after a long day. I would highly recommend this house and hope to return in the future.

Family Time

This was the perfect home to spend time with extended family we don't get to see often. There was plenty of room for the 10 of us, especially with the outdoor space. The location was perfect as well. We hope we can do this again in the future.

Family Vacation

We vacation yearly as a family, including children and grandchildren. This property has everything you can need and more. Having little boys, this yard makes relaxation easy. You are able to sit on the deck with family and watch the children run around and play. There are so many beach items and play things in the garage for them. The house is comfortable and lovely! Thank you!

Hidden Gem

We loved our stay here! The grounds are absolutely perfect for a family. A huge back yard with a fun swing and obstacle course! The deck furniture is under a large gazebo so we were able to enjoy even the rainy days outside. The inside of the house is beautifully updated. It was the perfect size for my husband and I, our two young children and extended family. The location of the house was very conveniently close to multiple beaches and restaurants! The owner Brian was also very quick and easy to communicate with throughout the stay.

Outstanding property and owner!

We rented this house for my daughter’s graduation. What an awesome choice - fully equipped and very clean. The owner was amazing too. Super responsive. We were looking for a full length mirror and I asked if there was one in the house. There wasn’t - but the owner showed up in an hour and brought one to us! Very much appreciated. Would rent this property and from this owner again and again!

We’ll stocked and clean home

Our stay was wonderful. We have a girls weekend Once a year and we are always looking for the perfect home. This house was as close as we have come. We need at least two twin beds in one of the rooms as we are 6 adults and some like to sleep alone otherwise we would for sure be returning to this home every year. It had everything you could need for a perfect vacation right down to condiments and toiletries such as shampoo/conditioner. Makes packing a light job. This house gets an A++!

Birthday Celebration

My family planned a weekend to celebrate my birthday and we couldn’t have been happier with this house. It is beautiful, nicely decorated, has everything you can possibly need and extremely clean. We are a family of 8 including a 3 and 6 year old. We loved going in the jacuzzi and the kids loved the obstacle course. Unfortunately we lost one day to rain so we were not able to enjoy all of the outdoor amenities they have in the garage. I wish we could have stayed an extra day! The house is about 30 minutes from Newport which makes it very convenient. Some of the reviews mentioned the close proximity to Route 1. Yes, the house is on Route 1 and it is close, but we didn’t see that as a problem at all and didn’t really notice the noise from the traffic. We highly recommend this beautiful home. Thank you for renting your home to us.

Girls weekend

This property is perfect for our annual Girls Weekend/college reunion trip! Plenty of room for all in the house. We thoroughly enjoy the deck and the hot tub! The location is great with several fabulous restaurants close by and Newport just a short 30min drive. This is our 2nd stay at this property and we can’t wait for the next time!

September goof trip

Excellent property, the house is very comfortable and it’s well-stocked with everything needed to enjoy time on the property or at the beach. Proximity to Rt 1 was not a problem at all. We had a great long weekend.

Lovely home

We stayed for a weeklong end of summer family vacation and really enjoyed our time. The home is lovely and stocked with more than you can even imagine from cookware and utensils to board/yard games and beach accessories. It is right off the highway, but you really don’t even notice as the yard is large and fenced so the passing traffic wasn’t even noticed. The fire pit was a hit with the kids and the frosty mugs in the freezer were a nice touch for the adults upon arrival. Brian was quick to respond to any questions and was very accommodating. The only thing we wished we had was access to a walking or riding path accessible right from the home so we could have used the bikes so graciously provided by the host as we don’t have a bike rack for our car. This did not have a negative impact on our stay at all since there were plenty of other things to do. The location of the home was very convenient as it is just a short drive to multiple beaches, restaurants, Icecream stands, shops and the Block Island ferry. We had a wonderful family vacation at a wonderful home. Thanks, Brian!

Perfect Stay

We were in town for college tours for my oldest daughter. We really enjoyed the comfort of the home. It was very well stocked with everything you need. Even beach chairs, bikes, boogie boards, beach towels. We had a great 6 nights here. Highly recommended.

A Wonderful House for a Family Get-together

We had a wonderful week with our 2 adult daughters, their spouses & 2 grandchildren (ages 9 & 12) at this VRBO. The house is lovely: very clean, is VERY WELL supplied (including lots of high quality cookware & unbreakable glassware & serving platters,+ paper products & lots of kitchen basics such as spices). It has very updated appliances, bathrooms, flat screen TVs, outdoor grill, hot tub and sooo many outdoor games,(including the slack line set-up in the shade., sports equipment, bikes & beach amenities of all types. We were also quite satisfied with linens & towels & the washer /dryer are quite new & well-located. I especially enjoyed the physical property--it is a beautiful large yard with lovely stone walls & large trees and native plantings. The deck, the fire pit with striking blue Adirondack chairs, the level grass play space, the grilling area are all very attractive separate spaces with with plenty of room for a large group in each. The views from all around this well-tended house are so pleasant--very green, restful & bucolic--a New England style yard & garden with varied terrain and LOTS of space! The owner was very responsive & helpful re: a few questions throughout our stay. No complaints other than slightly difficult access from the adjacent highway (which is out of the owner's control & does NOT have any negative effect on enjoyment of the house or yard). All of our family agreed this house deserves the highest rating.

Excellent house for a family trip

Clean, fully stocked home with many fun indoor and outdoor amenities. Fun for children and adults alike! Brian is a responsive host. Close to the highway, but still a great location and close to everything we wanted to do. Had a great time!
