The hotel is somewhat new. The rooms are modern and clean. The breakfast was great with a nice selection of options. They have roof top bar which is great in the evening. Location is very close to the airport. Sorong is very dirty with few hotel options like the Aston available.

The location is right across the airport. Not much to do in Sorong so very convenient. The hotel was nice and we got a nice room. Breakfast was good. But we had an issue. We were to return after a week before our departure to the US so we left some clothes to be laundered. We were advised this would be no problem. It was common practice. Our flight got cancelled so we had to rebook and could not stay the night so we went back to just pick up our clothes. The hotel could not find our clothes. The person helping us was not great. Eventually they handed me a package that was missing my coat and socks. We had a plane to catch so we just left.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was most helpful and we can highly recommend the Aston! It’s right across the street from the airport and only 15 minutes from the ferry port. They also have an on site ATM and a restaurant with a roof top bar. Super happy with our 2 stays here!

Super clean and no noises which I appreciate since I was able to sleep well before my flight. I absolutely loved the breakfast. Of all the Indonesian hotels this one had the most variety and quality of Indonesian foods. So tasty and satisfy as well as healthy. They have a free shuttle as well.
