Checked Out

The "lake" was dry. The place was not clean, only the main room. My bed had black hair in it and when VRBO was contacted that night I was told I could find sheets in the laundry to change the bed...funny part is there were only towels in a bin. The heat turned off in the middle of the night and the temp was 49 degrees inside. Got up to turn that on again after waking up freezing. We left in the morning.

Relaxing at the lake

Good overall stay

It was an overall good stay with a few annoyances: The property was not very clean. The floors were sticky and we ended up cleaning the floors in the living room and kitchen. The liquid soap in the master bathroom was watered down. The snacks in the kitchen counter were expired.. I had to throw them away because they tasted stale. Aside from these issues, the stay was pleasant with my family and we had fun. It was spacious and our toddler loved it.

No Curb appeal

Property was nice and the outside could use maintenance. Pest control was needed. Spider webs outside and inside the house. Killed several spiders. Cleaning crew could do a better job removing spider webs. Windows had a beautiful views BUT windows needed cleaning. House inside was very nicely decorated. Would stay again.

A short and fairly comfortable stay

Stayed a few days as a family of 7 (ages 2-36). Pros: Kitchen was large and well stocked. Beds were all comfortable and well supplied with all the blankets and pillows you could wish for. We slept very well. Dock and gazebo were serene and beautiful places to hang out with a good amount of seating. Plenty of smart TVs for digital entertainment. Owners responded promptly to problems encountered with house. Living room had a lot of natural light with curtains to provide privacy. Cons: Living room furniture was modern and oriented more toward a sleek look than for seating comfort. Would have loved some deeply cushioned couches. After one try, we gave up watching movies or trying to hang out in living room, preferring to hang out in bedrooms or on dock. It was a shame we didn't want to spend time there, since it was a large space we could have fit within. Downstairs living room (?) lacked seating. Again, would have liked some couches or chairs.

Lake house with panoramic views

This is our third time at the property. Open layout with plenty of room to spread out. Comfortable beds and each room has a view of the lake. Highly recommend!

Lake house fun!

Our family stayed here for a 60th birthday- house was great, nicely appointed and comfortable. Lisa was great at communicating and check in/out process was seamless. Comfy beds!! About 15-20 minutes from Stone Mountain park, convenient! gorgeous sunrises over the lake! Thanks for a memorable time!

Beautiful home!

We stayed here for my cousin’s bachelorette weekend. Great location, the view of the lake was stunning. Each room had its own door to access the lake, except the one bed room up stairs. We did have a freaky event. A stranger knocked on the door at 4:30 in morning and said “my name is Shawn I’m lost can I come in?) we had to call the police on her. Overall the stay was great. Make sure all doors is locked before you go to bed.

the air conditioner is not working properly-Staiway are old and running down

The air conditioner is not working properly. The downstair was super cold and the upstairs was super hot. The stairway made an extremely loud noise when you walk up and down -every step of the way- the entire house would hear you. The stairs are wood and very old.

Peaceful place!

We booked a last minute stay to arrive in town for the Braves game. It was perfect for our two families! We have a lot of boys and they enjoyed fishing and paddling in the paddle boat. The beds were extremely comfortable! Super convenient and perfect for our quick little getaway! Oh, and the French doors in every room were such a dream! 😍

Spartan Race Weekend

This was the PERFECT place to stay for the weekend for our group of 6 adults and 2 children. The house is spacious and clean! The views of the lake are stunning. So relaxing and perfect to use as a home base for local activities or as a destination in itself. I will definitely stay here again given the opportunity.

Picturesque views!!

My family and I visited the Atlanta area to celebrate my 10 yr olds birthday. The location of the vrbo was spectacular. 40 mins from the World of Coke and Aquarium. We also visited Great Wolf Lodge which was 1hr and 30mins away. The beds were very comfortable. The backyard views were amazing. Kitchen was fully equipped.
