During my recent stay at hotel Mi, I found many aspects to be commendable. Firstly, the hotel's location was incredibly convenient, making it easy for me to explore the area. Additionally, the cleanliness of the hotel was top-notch, with immaculate rooms and common areas that were well-maintained.
Most of the front desk staff were lovely and helpful, providing excellent service throughout my stay. However, I encountered an issue with one particular staff member, a young woman working the desk later at night. During check-in, she gave off the impression that I was interrupting her, which was off-putting. Later, when I approached her with a question about the breakfast included in my stay, she completely ignored me, engrossed in her phone. Despite being right in front of her, she didn't look up or acknowledge my presence. In fact, she spent so much time playing on her phone that I could vividly describe it – it looked like a white iphone with some sort of black and silver attachment. I left without receiving any assistance or acknowledgment, feeling quite frustrated by the lack of professionalism.
Overall, while the hotel's location, cleanliness, and most of the staff were commendable, the negative experience with the young woman at the front desk was disappointing and left a sour note on an otherwise amazing stay. I will still give 5 stars as her treatment was a very minor situation and loved this hotel.
