The private family bungalow was nice with its own private pool. The advertisement is somewhat deceitful. The bungalow has one living room and 2 small rooms. Two showers are across from the living room, with no locks and 1 toilet. No big sign outside to say this is the property location. No sign for lobby/reception area. Just need to walk and find it for yourself. Cannot bring outside food/drinks, which is rare in Cambodia. I thought I was booking 2 separate rooms, especially for the price of $145/night per room. So it was $290 a night for 4 adults, 3 children and 1 toilet. I normally don’t give an ok/average review. We left trash outside the room to be thrown away, but the cleaners never came by. We ended up throwing it away in the garbage bin in the front. There was a misunderstanding on Expedia vs what was advertised. Says free breakfast but the gentleman contacted me and said he forgot to update. They also charge $5 per child per night which Expedia advertised for free. I told them to cancel but he took the kids charge off. Mosquitoes are abundant here. First night, could not sleep since they were everywhere.
All in all, they have a nice general pool area. The ambience is also nice. The bartender does not know how to make drinks. I advised not to order any cocktails. The staff is friendly. The power did go out for an hour after we checked in; no backup generator? If it wasn’t for the courteous staff, the review might be a lot worse. I have it 3 days before this review.
