On Tuesdays, the restaurants are all closed. There’s a lot of construction going on out front, but the staff is very friendly overall with a few exceptions. There was a new fella at the deli downstairs Jason or Jaylin, who was doing an awesome job as a new employee. We enjoyed the gambling floor and the games were all very exciting. Lovely town of Shreveport and across the street is to Sandra‘s on the riverfront. The price was excellent and better than a military rate ha ha ha. Thank you for a fun day overall.!

Great casino wonderful staff room was very nice. The food in the cafe needs serious improvement. The Red River Club Sandwich was poorly prepared and the soup of the day never arrived, the nice staff kept checking but it was always being heated down stairs and never arrived.

When we entered our room the AC cover was off the unit and exposed. Then I walked into the bathroom and the towel bar was broke and laying on the counter. We noticed we had no hand towels whatsoever in the room so had to use our actual bathing towels for everything. There was no shampoo in the room and only conditioner. The floor was wet due to the AC unit. The final straw was no cups anywhere in the room for me to even brew a cup of coffee in the actual room while getting ready so I didn’t have to spend $5 for a regular cup of coffee downstairs. Not to mention get a mouth full of coffee grounds for $5. They want to charge Starbucks prices for literally a cup of coffee.(12oz) It was my birthday weekend and was excited to come down but the overall experience was awful. For what we paid for the room it should have never been over $150/night and that’s being generous. However, I spent much more than that for getting absolutely NOTHING but a bed.

Booked online. Lady at the front desk wasn’t very welcoming. Her only words were “ we only have pet friendly rooms left”. I said ok I booked online. Then she said “well I’m just letting you know all we have is pet friendly rooms.” She came off as we have these rooms, take it or leave. Finally she gave us our room keys. The rooms stink and there was what looked like blood on the underside of our blankets which was pretty nasty. We had our own blankets so it was ok. For sure would never go back again.

Easily Confused

We are still fighting with the hotel over our refund. We had reservations for 5/20, 21 and checked in because we were stranded in Louisiana. It was out third stay in two weeks. When we got to our room we received a phone call from the mechanic saying our camper was finally fixed. We called the front desk and a gentleman said "no problem, we will check you back out" upon leaving my wife went to the desk to confirm they had indeed checked us out. The lady at the front desk said we were all set and the gentleman i had spoke to from the room confirmed it. We called hotels.com to advise them and they made several attempts to call and email the hotel with no response. The next day we called from Mississippi to confirm and a confused manager said we hadn't been checked out and hotels.com never contacted them, then told us they had to check the surveillance tape to see if we left, so we gave her the exact time we left. We them contacted hotels.com again and they said they tried but got no response so the case was closed. We are still trying each day to get our refund but cannot find anyone with much knowledge. Its a shame as much as we travel that ballys would pull this and Hotels.com would give up so easily. Absolutely pathetic customer service.

My brother was in a terrible accident and sent to LSU Shreveport. We made an emergency 7 hour trip with my 73 year old mother with a heart condition. We canceled an appointment with a cardiac electrician because of my brothers accident. Once I got to the hospital I found a room that was pet friendly (I had to drive to Monroe to get my brothers dog that strangers had kept while he road in an ambulance) I took the dog and checked in someone had set the ac to 50. Turned it up to 70 I don’t think it ever got 70. went back to the hospital with food for my boyfriend and mother. They ended up sending us home to take my brother to a different university for nasal reconstruction to save us on housing and food while we go through this tragedy. We get back to the hotel between 10 and 12 and I needed a shower. The shower head had gunk on it and sprayed everywhere and you had to dodge around it to hit you. The entire bathroom ended up wet. We all literally crashed. The bed was so bad I had to hold onto the side to not fall on my boyfriend which I ended up doing. The bed was completely sunken in the middle. I couldn’t be up any longer and really neither could my brother or mother so we kush slept that way. This morning we realized we had pulled back both the bottom and top sheet. That’s when I realized the mattress pad was urine stained. Only the mattress pad not the blanket sheets or mattress. So I’m certain our trained dog didn’t do it. Plus she slept in the bed with her dad.

Rooms aren't as clean as they should be .. base board super nasty everywhere n the room. Behind the tv stand and dresser just nasty .. up under the beds nasty. For the price i expected the room to be super clean. It's hard for me to sleep n a nasty room.. so i checked out early and left
