This house was beautiful, situated next to a tranquil lake! Communication with the property owner was challenging as we had to go through a third part management firm that was difficult to reach.

GET AWAY WEEKEND

PROPERTY WAS EXCELLENT. THE MORNING SUNRISES ARE ABSOLUTELY GEORGOUS.THE SUNSETS ARE EXCEPTIONAL.THE AMENITIES ARE PERFECT AND ABOVE ALL EXPECTATIONS. I WOULD STAY AGAIN AND AGAIN AND RECOMMEND IT TO EVERYONE.

Perfect spring break

Everything about our stay was perfect! The house was very clean. The communication with the homeowners was prompt and very accommodating for us, as we had a boat with us for a high school fishing tournament. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect spot and Close to family

We were so impressed with how nice this house was and having the view of the lake on two sides of the house was amazing! Sunrise was beautiful. We spent so much time out on Lay Lake. We had the best time. Will try for the same time of year next time. Loved every minute.

Family Vacation

We really enjoyed our stay on Lay Lake. There was plenty of room for our family of 6. The kitchen was well equipped with items we needed for cooking. We were able to buy groceries at a nearby Piggly Wiggly and were able to eat out at a nearby BBQ restaurant .

Vacation stay

We rented this house for the week of the fourth. The pictures don’t do it justice, this place is beautiful! The property is so spacious and so great for kids. Our kids had so much fun on the kayaks and paddleboards that were supplied. When we arrived we had all of the things that we needed and Micha was easily available and answered all questions we needed. The house was so clean and cozy, We will most definitely be back!

Beautiful sunrises

This home has a very relaxing atmosphere. It had comfortable beds and was clean. The lake was beautiful and a great spot to fish, kayak and swim. We had a wonderful time with our family here. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

Beautiful Home and a Fantastic Experience

The house was even better than anticipated! The owners thought of everything one might need when staying with a group. We cooked, grilled, swam, fished, canoed, kayaked, slept in the hammock, gathered around the firepit -- and had a fantastic experience. The location is picturesque on the shores of Lay Lake. The owner was quick to respond to our questions and incredibly accommodating. We can't stop talking about our time there and hope to go back again next year!

Beautiful spot for a get away

We came down to visit family in the area and was looking for somewhere we could bring our boat to do some fishing. It’s a gorgeous property. Thinking about renting both homes out next time for a family reunion-there’s plenty of room for a large group.

Wonderful Fishing and Relaxation

The owners are wonderful people who communicated and responded in a timely process to any questions we had. The property and home were beautiful with gorgeous lake views We enjoyed the boat house which we used to keep our boat in at night Words really can’t express what a wonderful time my wife and I along with our pups had relaxing, fishing, and cooking out. Ending each evening on the porch watching the moons reflection over the gorgeous lake view We will be back! Mike and Rice

Coffee on the porch! 😍

We stayed here for a high school bass tournament & it was perfect! While off the beaten path, it was such a beautiful, peaceful setting! Coffee on the front porch while the sun rises is a MUST here! Arrangements and bedding was comfortable and enjoyable. While the weather wasn’t nice enough for us to enjoy the fire pit and complimentary S’mores, it was a sweet gesture & unexpected surprise! We did however use the grill for steaks one night. The boys loved the bunk room and enjoyed having their own retreat. Thank you for sharing this property with us! If we find ourselves back in the area, we would book again. The only thing I might suggest is some sheers for the upstairs bedroom… I love the view but something to cover the doors for privacy from downstairs viewers would be a nice touch. 🙂 Also, parking was a little difficult with a truck and boat trailer & a second vehicle. We were, however, able to make arrangements with the other renters at the neighboring home and we worked it out just fine. Also made some new fishing friends & connections! 😉 Thank you again for a wonderful stay!

Perfect Family and Friend Gathering

We rented both houses on the property for a 70th Birthday celebration. The house was spotless and well equipped. We enjoyed having the fire pit and all the food needed for cooking s’mores were supplied. The views are great and the owner easy to reach if you have any issues or questions. Can’t wait to return.

Lovely place!

This place was perfect for our 2 night stay in town. Beautiful view, nice decor, well kept and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and relaxing. Extra amenities - snacks, coffee and tea were so appreciated. We loved it!

Beautiful Birthday

Chose this property due to the proximity to the water and that it allowed dogs. It is a beautiful property on an easy to navigate Lake. We chose to rent the boat after we got there. And Micha was wonderful and easy to contact in accommodating us. The extras on property were also a hit. Thank you for a wonderful place to stay.

Firefly House guests

The house was very charming. Every room was super clean and updated. The Southern hospitality made us feel at home. Micah was very helpful with the boat and making sure that we got everything we needed to enjoy including the s’mores and woods for the camp fire! The lake view was amazing. We enjoyed watching the geese walking on the yard. We all loved this lake house and we will come back!
