Cute smokies cabin

The cabin is exactly as listed and pictured. Quite clean, organized and well stocked with linens and cooking supplies. The only complaint I could possibly have would be that one side of the bed has a dip in it. The noise outside during the day is awfully loud and you do notice it. Walking to the coffee shop down the road is quite dangerous. There isn’t much of a shoulder to walk on and the traffic is going at 45mph and faster. Would I stay here again? Absolutely. Clean and courteous owners are worth the noise.

Great place to stay if you want to be away from downtown and close to the national park. Also close to Mountain Brothers General Store - which has my favorite coffee. You can set on the front porch and hear the live music each night. This house is Very clean and cozy. Lots to do at the house on a rainy day if you don’t want to get out. It is next to the main highway and yes expect road noise from UTVs and motorcycles. That is to be expected and it didn’t bother us. We will definitely book this place again the next time we head to the mountains.

A short vacation

The cabin was fantastic, and beautifully decorated. The cabin was just a short drive to Pigeon Forge. Down the street was a few restaurants. One of our favorites with the Sloppy Hog, great food. The King size bed was very comfortable, especially for a person with a bad back. We would stay there again.

Excellent Cabin

The cabin was exactly as advertised. King size bed is very comfortable and the hot tub is nice after a day out in Pigeon Forge. The cabin was very clean and decorated very nicely. We would definitely stay here again!

Best Cabin

We loved our stayed at The Bear Stop. This was the cleanest and well stocked place we have ever stayed at. The furnishings were tasteful with a personal touch: the photo on the mantel and the 2 framed postcards. Great hot tub (with privacy) and porch sitting---although the traffic was loud at times but unnoticed once inside. We will DEFINITELY book with this place again.

Cozy cabin

My family and I have stayed in several cabins over the last 20 years and I must say that this is the most immaculately cleaned home we have evwr had the oleasure pf stayimg in. The property manager, Jim was extremely lind and attentive if needed. This cabin is beautifully decorated and is right off wears valley road for quick access to the oarkeay. A great value!!!!

Wonderful Weekend!

We took a long weekend trip to the mountains and The Bear Stop was exactly what we needed! Checking in was simple, the cabin was exactly as described! We were out and about for most of our stay but this was the perfect place to end our busy days to relax and unwind! Can’t wait to come back!

Birthday Getaway

House was very clean and neat, beautiful house. The kitchen had all things needed for cooking which was nice. It was perfect for just my husband and me to enjoy a nice weekend to celebrate both our birthdays.

Wears Valley Gem!

We have stayed in this area before so we were familiar with our surroundings. It snowed our first two days and didn't have to worry about the roads being clear, they were well maintained! The property was very clean everything from the hot tub to the bathroom. We have a 9 year old and he loved the arcade games as an added touch to the cabin. You are close to the road but we sleep with a fan so that didn't really bother us. It's an easy drive to the parkway no steep mountains to drive, but you still see incredible views. I would definitely recommend this cabin!!!

Very nice place. Everything looks/works like new. My 2 negatives a) sits close to a busy road b) mattress too firm for me, hurts my back. Only about 10 minutes to the main strip

Birthday trip

The cabin was a sweet little getaway for me and my husband. There were only a couple of things that could make it better, there were no garbage bags and only 1 roll of toilet paper. Thank goodness the dollar store was close by. It was hard to take naps due to how close the cabin is to the road but over all the trip was great!!!

Thanksgiving Getaway

The property was very inviting. Close to Cades Cove and Foothills Parkway which loved. Bed and living room furniture was super comfy. Nice kitchen to cook in. Very clean!

Will be returning every Anniversary going forward!

My husband and I visited from NC for our one year wedding anniversary. The house was the perfect size for two people. It is only 15 minutes from popular Pigeon Forge attractions and restaurants. If you want to go out to eat locally, there are plenty of local spots within walking distance, including the heavenly roast coffee shop and some local food trucks. The wears valley food truck park is only a 3 minute drive. The house was fully stocked with every appliance, pot, or pan that you could possibly need. They have a coffee pot available as well as a keurig. We were also intrigued to even find a crockpot in the kitchen! Everything was well maintained and spotless. The hot tub was clean and very relaxing with a beautiful view of the mountains. Jim was also very responsive to any questions that we had. The road noise mentioned in the description is hardly noticeable at all and didn’t cause any issues. Pool table and arcade games were all in great condition. The fireplace was awesome to have, even if you don’t want heat you can just turn on the lights for ambiance. We cannot wait to come back again next year!

Th Bear Stop

We had such a great visit to the smokies! Our place was fantastic. Super clean, cozy and perfect for a couple. Location was awesome and we checked out several of the Wears Valley shops and restaurants. We live on a busy road so the traffic didn’t bother us at all. We highly recommend The Bear Stop!
