The Views!

Cabin was more modern and fresh than anticipated. It had everything we needed. Our only regrets are 1) that we didn't stay longer and 2) that it was too cold to spend ample time on the deck and enjoy the magnificent views!

Beautiful view

Loved sitting amongst the treetops on the deck. The view was stunning. Also enjoyed the peaceful silence and privacy. Very easy check-in and check-out process. Convenient to Dollar General for basic necessities and Pigeon Forge.

New Years trip

Place was clean and great. We had an issue driving up and down hill, noting in the notes. If you have a non 4x4, you could be in Danger. Property manager did not call me after number of calls and text..saying all that cabin is great , views are amazing and very clean. Don’t go if ice or snow , you will be in trouble

Very nice cabin, mountain road to get there

Nice cabin, awesome view, wonderful place to stay. I didn't realize just how the last couple miles would be. If you are not comfortable with driving on mountain residential roads, this may not be the place for you.

Beautiful home, not safe for older people

I took my mother here for her 70th. The home is beautiful, but I wouldn’t consider it safe for older people. The water is very soft, making all the showers slippery and hot tub area the same and there aren’t rugs getting out of all of the showers. My mom slipped and fell getting out of the shower and had to be taken to the ER. I realize that things can happen that cut vacations short but the mgmt company after we had to leave early said I should have gotten travel insurance and never even addressed my request for grippers or non-slip options in the tub. It’s a basic safety issue but otherwise the home was beautiful. Just really disappointed with mgmt only saying “we will keep her in our prayers”. She’s having multiple surgeries and was in the hospital all week from the fall.

Wonderful! But dusty...but wonderful!

Going to make this short and to the point, there was thick dust on electronics, windowsills, and under bed headboard but that was the worst of it. Also a stronger spraying shower head might be in order instead of mist but that is just to tell what we experience. The main things that usually get cleaned were on point! I was not only impressed with the view but how great the hot tub was! Spacious and not old but very nice! Also xfinity for internet! We had internet speeds of over 100 mbps! And 3 TVs with channels! And great working appliances (minus the nonworking toaster). We’ve never stayed at the same cabin twice and we’ve been to 8 cabins now but I would really consider staying here again for it’s view, internet and hot tub! Thanks!

Relaxing Stay

The house was very clean and organized! We absolutely enjoyed the beautiful views and the hot tub on the deck! We would recommend this cabin to anyone looking for some quiet time with scenic views! Also, a short drive to “The Island” for a quick dinner and drinks.

It’s all about the VIEW!

We had a terrific stay at Eagles Nest. The panoramic view of the Smoky Mountains was breathtaking! Cleanliness (dusty air vent) was overall good, and the layout was very convenient and comfortable. Will definitely stay again!

August 2020 visit

The cabin was absolutely fantastic! Everything was clean and exactly as listed. On our last day there as we were leaving a mama bear and 2 cubs came right up to our deck for a surprise visit! We will definitely be booking again!

Spectacular view, good price, disappointing interior

You cannot beat the view from this cabin. The highlight of our trip was spending time on the deck and enjoying the view. It is definitely the best feature of this property. I also enjoyed the hot tub. The beds were comfortable and the wi-fi was fast. There is definitely room for improvement, though. The house was poorly stocked with amenities. In the kitchen we had an almost empty salt shaker. There was no pepper, olive oil, other spices, aluminum foil, etc. In addition, a lot of the pans and pots were dirty and had to be cleaned before they could be used. We only had 2.5 rolls of toilet paper and 2 kitchen garbage bags for our family for the entire week. There weren't any extras stashed in a cabinet or drawer. There was no shampoo, conditioner, laundry detergent, or charcoal. I expect that some of these basic amenities are provided. There is no shower head on the downstairs shower. I had read this issue on previous posts a year ago but I had assumed the owner would have fixed it. It should cost less than $100 to install a shower head. Nope. I'm puzzled why a small maintenance issue wouldn't be addressed after multiple guests have brought it up.

Unable to attend trip

Unfortunately, we were unable to attend this trip because of a death in the family. Realtor company would not allow a credit or a refund since it was within one week of departure, so I recommend travel insurance since they do not seem to make any exceptions. (Despite removing name from the reservation, I am still getting constant emails to review this rental. )
