Charming spot that is as advertised

Check in process was simple and communication with host easy and quick responses. A couple of maintenance items you may want to look into: kitchen light over eating area seems to be burned out (or at least we couldn’t turn it on); the plug on the side lamp in the front living room has been cut off- all parts are still there just not attached. It would be nice to have a spatula suitable for use in stick free pans. The pull for the light on the master bedroom fan could not be easily reached - could use an extender. Was surprised there were no basic items like salt and pepper. However, the unit was very clean and quite charming. Good location with just a short walk to the historic downtown area and a plus that it has free parking In back and street parking is unmetered. Would recommend.

A great place to stay in Savannah

My sisters and I went to Savannah for a "Sisters' Trip." We stayed at your place and had a fantastic time. The house was close to Forsyth Park, Krogers, and within walking distance to the Historical District. It was a great place to relax and enjoy each other's company. We enjoyed the deck as well as the beautiful, spacious rooms. We'd stay there again if we go back to Savannah!

All was as advertised and better.

For our age the stairs were a bit to much. We made this observation from viewing pictures but took the chance it wouldn't be that bad. It was entirely our decision. Still feel the plus of the property outweighed the steps but i will avoid as many steps in the future.

A lovely home in a perfect area

I've stayed in a bunch of places in Savannah while my child goes to school at SCAD. For this particular visit, we needed a place with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, since my elderly mom was accompanying us. Although there's a set of stairs to get into the house and a set of stairs to get to the bedrooms (which we knew about, since I'd looked at both the photos and the video provided), she was able to navigate them just find and both have handrails. Both my husband and my mother loved this house. I'm a bit pickier, so I'll say that it was a fantastic find and we'd likely stay again. The "buts" are that the front bedroom, which we thought my mother would stay in because it had the queen bed, had an A/C unit that ran all the time and was too cold for her. The back bedroom, which I thought my husband I would be in, had an A/C unit that barely worked. So we sacrificed the King bed to my mom so she wouldn't freeze and took the Queen bed (which was too soft for two of us and my husband ended up using an air mattress) so I wasn't too hot. The shower in the front bathroom looked iffy, but was fine, and my mom said the shower in the other bathroom was fantastic. I also recommended to the company that owns the house that they get tiebacks for the curtains because you currently get air conditioning with lots of light, or you can get darkness with a blocked A/C but there's no way to keep the curtain out of the A/C at the moment. The extra bathroom downstairs is a nice bonus!

Great Experience

To summarize - this place is great. Wonderful location, everything was pretty much as advertised. When we had a very mild issue, they quickly and professionally fixed at my request! If you are traveling with more than four people, the sleeping arrangements aren’t great. There is a futon in one of the rooms but it wasn’t ideal for sleeping. There are a lot of windows in each room, which is great, except with small kiddos who wake up with the sun. The rooms were very large and the kitchen had everything we needed. Forsyth park was so close so the kids spent a lot of time there! Some of the furniture (coffee table and some of the side tables) were falling apart and very rickety, so I had to keep my kids away, but otherwise wonderful place. We would totally stay again if for nothing more than the location and the ease of parking!

Five but.................

Everything was five star but it could have been much better with just a little effort. 1. The rear sliding door must be dealt with. Replace, fix, whatever it cannot remain as is. 2. The rear deck and furniture- clean it, power wash it, again whatever. It could be a cool area with just a little effort. 3. The first floor powder room. Fix the ceiling. There is no excuse. 4. The heating and cooling system. It does not appear to work, Fix it. Again, we thought the place was great, but just a little effort could make it so much more.

Easter Break

Loved the apartment and location, had a terrific stay and really enjoyed Savannah. Perfect for a long weekend and wished we could have stayed longer.... location is close to Forsyth Park and everything all in walking distance, we only used the car once the whole stay. Apartment was perfect for the family, lots of space, small balcony, well equipped.... would stay again.

The perfect Savannah stay

The accommodations were perfect for our first trip to Savannah. The house was light and bright, clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The location and off-street parking was very convenient and walkable to most of Savannah. A Kroger within a short walk was an added bonus. Southern Belle was super responsive and handled a minor problem within an hour of contacting them. The house was beautiful and just as seen I the pictures. Two bedrooms each with an en-suite bathroom was perfect for our needs. We highly recommended this unit for any stay in Savannah.

Great house and a great location

We truly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful property. The house was a great size for our family of 4. We were be able to have our own space but also everything that we need. Having parking at the house was a nice asset. Forsyth Park around the corner and a wonderful bakery two blocks away were appreciated. It was a manageable walk (15-20 minutes) to shopping and restaurants or an easy ride. The use of the pool and parking at the property in Tybee Island was a great bonus. The furniture was not the most comfortable. A few changes in the kitchen could also help. For example, please include some glasses. It was nice to find a French press in the closet but would’ve been better to have an electric kettle or a glass measuring cup to heat the water. The changes noted were so minor and should not in anyway deter anyone from staying at this property. You will have a great time.

Not as advertised

Located is great! Otherwise the place looks nice but has its issues. Light switches taped to the walls, appliances not working ( although when i did call they replaced within a few hours), pool located 25 min away on Tybee, patio door broken so it was near impossible to go in and out off the deck, toilet seat downstairs bathroom broken, downstairs neighbor sub pump stopped working so when u got to the deck to sit, the smell of sewage was horrible because they had to call a company to pump it out. They ended up pumping it out into the parking areas, so if u pulled in, u had to walk thru sewage. Not great.

Great overall!!!

It was a great overall visit! Perfect place to stay, convenient to walk to all the places we wanted to in Savannah. The property management company checked in with us periodically to ensure everything was as expected and we thoroughly enjoyed our trip! The bed was very comfy too, which is always a plus!

Centrally located in the historic district of Savannah. Easy to navigate public transportation.

Private patio. Spacious bedrooms. Quite a few spaces to hang out. Close to grocery store. Nice bathrooms - great hot water. We chose this location because it came with a parking spot and was located right in the historic district.

Great, but still construction nextdoor

The location and place itself were really good. Nice that there was a reserved parking place. The area is within 20-30 min walk to everything but yet quiet at night, which was nice. Only small thing is that there is still construction next door so if you want to do any sort of afternoon nap 😉, probably not.

Savannah stay

Everything was as advertised and found it to be a very comfortable stay. It was close enough to walk anywhere and we had no trouble getting around. Off street parking was definitely a plus! I would only say that extra washcloths would have been nice. One washcloth per person seems a little unreasonable. A small box of kleenex in each bathroom would have been nice as well.

Great spot close to everything

Wonderful spot for a family of 4. We walked to Forsyth every morning for the kids to play, and multiple coffee shops within walking distance as well. Very short walk to grocery and can easily hop on the Dot trolley to give feet a rest. We arrived at night and finding parking was not well explained according to directions provided- so let me save you some time and simply say the parking spots are right behind the rental, not off the street listed. You pull around and will find the lot directly located next to the back entry to the house. Hope that saves future renters the headache. Overall very comfy stay and our kids loved it as well!

Work trip.

The property was wonderful. Great location. We had two couples in the house and it was nice for each couple to have a huge bedroom and a bathroom right off from each room. Would stay here again!
