Nice cabin in a secluded area. Peaceful with great amenities for a family vacation. Close to lots of things to do.

The cabin itself was very beautiful and the bedrooms were charming. There were towels, shampoo, and even coffee pods for us to use. The problem came when we kept encountering cockroaches in the kitchen and when we discovered the bats living in the attic and one or more trapped in the wall. That definitely made sleeping difficult.

Nice getaway with kids and grandkids. Everything was clean. Kids loved hot tub. Bear even made an appearance in driveway.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

My family of 4, including our 17 and 20 year old children and dog, absolutely loved our stay here. The cabin was the perfect size to keep us together but give us our own space. We used the hot tub and had evening bonfires in the fire pit. The cabin was clean and well appointed allowing us to make dinner for the nights we didn’t go out to eat. Check in and out was super easy.

Cozy getaway

We enjoyed a relaxing weekend at the cabin. The beds were comfy, the decor was adorable, hot tub and fire pit were a great touch. Loved the balcony off of the king suite. We enjoyed making dinner and breakfast together, playing board games and being only a few minutes from town. There was enough parking for 3 vehicles and the road & driveway was easy to access.

Everything was going well, house "appeared" very clean, hot tub was wonderful, and the house was exactly as it appeared in the pictures. All was good until the cockaroaches made their appearance. Which prompted us to check the beds and they had bed bugs. We vacated immediately and did receive a full refund and were told the exterminator would be sent out immediately to deal with the issues.

Quiet family fun

The property was very clean and had easy access for my elderly mother. The hot tub was big enough for my husband and I with our two teenagers. And the water was well maintained. The house was located in a quiet area, but just a few minutes drive from the locations we visited. I would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to visit Helen.

Amazing!

The property is in the perfect location. Close to Unicoi SP, Anna Ruby Falls, and Helen. Every activity we did was a short drive from the cabin. My family was so comfortable during our stay. Perfect secluded cabin. The outdoor area was perfect for a fire during the cool nights. I highly recommend this cabin to anyone. Clean, no bugs, no weird smells, fun board games. Great times, can’t wait to come back!

Great weekend!

Great place and very spacious. Beds are comfortable. Lots of room for the 6 of us and the 2 dogs. Would recommend it again! Only thing is that we saw quite a bit of cockroaches. I would also recommend more lighting off the back porch as it got super dark! Other than that, great time!

Blissful Beary Cabin

We enjoyed our stay at Blissful Beary Cabin. The hottub was perfect and beds were very comfy. However, not enough towels for all our guests, so that was definitely a bummer. Especially since we also were using the hottub. We also had trouble with the internet and flickering lights with the use of hair dryers. But, Vacasa employees were helpful with our needs.

Great House BUT Needs a Good Cleaning & Pest Control

The house itself is in a great location and is a lovely house set in the woods, but it needs a very good cleaning and pest control! I would rent it again if it were thoroughly cleaned and the small roaches were eliminated.

Our new favorite cabin!

My family loved this cabin. It was so clean, not dusty and “bug-y” like some other cabins I’ve stayed in. The rooms and layout accommodated us quite well. I loved playing the board games that were there and my husband read one or two of the books. It would’ve been nice to have some hooks near the front door for hanging coats, or purses. There is also no curtain on the front door which had a big window on it, so we just hung a towel over it. All the Roku TV’s were a plus. The internet signal was strong, perfect for remote working. The fireplace and hot tub were wonderful!

Lovely, cozy cabin

The cabin lay out and comfort level was wonderful. Comfy beds and pillows were a big bonus. I was glad not to have high balconies on the common level since we have little ones and the screened in porch is a nice touch. However, there were several random bugs throughout the cabin so maybe increase pest control? And there was a good bit of pet hair on the furniture, rug, and bedding. The sheets were clean thankfully but I didn't want to use the comforter because I am allergic to cats and my allergies were a mess.

Not too blissful

The Cabin is in a great location however we showed up to find dirty sheets in the master bed room and the floors had not been cleaned. The 2nd day we were there we killed at least 5 hornets or some sort of wasp in the hallway near the upstairs bedrooms. After 3 straight days of rain the roof in the dining room started to leak. The Cabin definitely needs some repairs.

Great neighborhood close to everything.

House at end of gravel road, drive underneath tree canopy feels like you are at the end of the world! Private Location!! No "Master Bath" on any bedroom. Hot tub had missing nozzles and 1 of the 2 jets did not work. We looked specifically for a private location with a Hot Tub, but the Hot Tub was unusable. Disappointing!! At check-in had sand on the dining room table and downstairs floors. We cleaned it up and it was fine. Had ant and roach issues, but the house is in the woods, so we kept everything clean and food in the refrigerator, and it was okay. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Stressful stay

Upon initial arrival, the cabin looked clean. However, we noticed very shortly into our stay ( night of check-in) that the cabin is in need of a deep cleaning. There is a bug problem, specifically , roaches. We were constantly killing roaches- disgusting. Another huge problem that we discovered at 2 am on our first night, was that there are mice or some sort of animals running behind the walls on the upper floor. I could not sleep upstairs at all because of nocturnal animals running around behind the walls and squeaking. This was the worst stay I have ever had in a cabin. We decided as a family to leave early.

Where is the local team?

Upon arrival the initial code to entertain he cabin did not work. It was difficult to call to get someone to help because there is no cell service and the internet was not working (code was provided in email). Once I was able to get somebody on the phone, access to the inside of cabin was fairly simple. We attempted to call again to check on internet and was told a local team member would reach out. We have yet to hear from a local team member and have reached out multiple times. At this point we have checked out from the cabin.
