The house was clean and in a great location to access downtown. They also thoughtfully supplied goodie bags with some necessities that saved some trips to the store.

The place was well decorated, very clean and well stocked. It was great to have 3 on suite bathrooms plus another. Great location with off street parking. Melissa was incredibly responsive immediately and thought of other things to make our stay better. Even had a dog bed and treats along with a gated dog run.

Nice place and location.

Great location to get to various good places to eat and shop. Local beach good but very busy. Venice beach is about 30 mins away which was worth the drive. International airport small bit within 10-15 mins (nice plus). Bedrooms were great. There was a nice futon like cot with a real mattress which was a nice plus. Only somewhat challenging was parking as small courtyard but garage space available was nice. Parking out front an option but we didn’t try it with it being small two lane road. Myself and my four children (ages 16-24) really enjoyed our stay. Would recommend.

Great house In a convenient location

The home was very clean and in a great location . We would visit here again but would have a few suggestions as it appears this is a new vrbo listing- we could have used some additional blankets for the beds as it was very thin in master and twin too. Upstairs. We also had no additional bedding for the futon area- no extra towels , no regular useable coffee maker and no hand soap - just some suggestions for future guests- thank you!

Large group rental

Overall great property. 3 bathrooms was a bonus for our group. Cleanliness issues under beds- had not been cleaned in a long time. Had to vacuum. Towels did not smell fresh - had to launder myself. Dishwasher was broken and dirty dishes had been returned to cabinets/drawers so had to rewash. No pods or sponge provided to clean dishes. Owner offered for maintenance to come in and fix dishwasher but we did not want to stick around while that was being done as we wanted to maximize our vacation stay. Would recommend owner to double check cleaning company before someone uses property. When I emailed owner about sponge and pods - there was no offer to supply either item. The overall need to clean items myself when I also pay a cleaning fee is what is resulting in overall rating. I would have rather stayed elsewhere due to that alone.

The property appeared very nice in the photos and is in a great location. It has a lot of potential, but unfortunately, our stay was affected by cleanliness and maintenance issues.Pros:Excellent locationNice property overallComfortable, stylish furnitureNice area for our puppy to enjoyCons:The unit was extremely dirty upon arrival. The floors were covered in a thick layer of dog hair. We vacuumed and emptied the machine three times, but the floors were still not clean.Dust and pet hair were on much of the furniture. The AC unit inlet was covered in layers of dust, indicating it had not been cleaned in a long time. The bedroom fan was also covered in dust, making it unusable. The AC unit in the master bedroom is extremely loud. The toilet leaks and refills every half an hour, disturbing sleep. The front door does not have a latch for added security.Hair was found in the basin and on the bedding.Floor carpets had dog hair and brown stains. The oven was dirty from previous use.The interior walls display numerous scuff marks and mismatched paint, which is a shame given the property's potential for improvement.Owner response:The owner was notified about the cleanliness issues, but only apologized. No cleaner was sent back, and no cleaning refund was offered, which was disappointing.
