This was a pleasant hotel with excellent service and excellent breakfast. It's not the intercontinental, but it's also less than half the price. It's feeling a bit old, but it's very clean and bright. As a business traveler from the US. I found it convenient to Paulista, and there were plenty of eating options nearby. If walking, plan to do it during the day only. Take a cab or walk in groups at night. This is not a specific problem of the hotel. The whole Paulista area gets seedier and less safe at night. Whether this hotel or a 5* hotel you'll experience the same on these streets at night.

Well my friend was with me they charged me extra for him, it’s a queen bed and I didn’t know when he’d be there but they charged me . And these folks are very stingy with the towels maybe it’s customary there but that was strange. And lastly there are 2 international airports with in 40 min of this place you’d think they have some kind of policy for people who get there at 1 am they should be able to check in, The staff was nice and the one guy who spoke English was a absolute delight he always had a smile

This hotel is really good value located in a beautiful part of the city. Staff was excellent. I left some items behind and they held it for me for almost a week. Definitely going to stay here on my next trip.

Terrible experience

The staff was very rude particularly one (Luis) with glasses at the front desk. The room had many ants crawling, we reported to the cleansing staff nothing was done. The washroom toilet had problem with flushing and no air circulation in the hotel room. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

The hotel is in a very good position in relation to Av Paulista. Not too many staff are conversant in English, however they were friendly and polite. Room was very compact with little space to manoeuvre.

NO TE HOSPEDES EN ESTE HOTEL, ES COSTOSO Y MALO

Habían arañas en la ducha, incluso cuando fui al baño, se me subió una. La tasa del inodoro no la limpiaron bien y estaba orinada. Le falta aseo, mantenimiento. Desde la habitación se escucha incluso las conversaciones y todo lo que hacen en las otras habitaciones. En la habitación 204 hay olores permanentes de cocina que comienzan desde las 5 AM hasta tarde en la noche. El personal del hotel de la recepción no hablan ingles o español, solo portugués. Y es muy difícil que le entienda. A uno lo que necesita cómo viajero. No lo recomiendo y no me volvería a quedar en ese hotel

Location is good, hotel is ok. BUT… it is extremely noisy. I travel a lot for work and leisure and I’ve never stayed in a hotel so noisy. The walls are paper thin and you can hear every conversation of everyone on your floor. The door are not soft close and people bang the doors all the time and it feels like they are next to you. The cleaning staff also is screaming and yelling in the hallway and whilst cleaning bedrooms. I’m not a light sleeper at all but it’s literally impossible to fall asleep until everyone on your floor stops talking and making noise, and you wake up with the first people - you can hear everyone’s alarm etc.

The rooms need a remodel. The beds are way too hard and firm. Provide better bedside tables. Provide Better soap and shower washing supplies. Upgrade the internet speed. Way too slow.
