Great value stay in Santorini
The host was friendly and even allowed us a late checkout as our ferry was not until late afternoon.
The property was clean and the area around it perfectly captured the vibe of Santorini. Not quite close to the hustle and bustle of the touristy areas which is good.
Only thing I would say is the property could do with a sign on the outside but the host directed us there via whatsapp and there was somebody there to meet us.
I would recommend staying in Fira as all the buses run through the station here which is 10 minutes walk away.
The villa was beautiful and very clean. The unit was fully stocked and the kitchen was wonderful.
We arrived in time to meet Alda, the maid. She made sure we had everything we needed. The young people slept up stairs and were delighted with the suite and bath plus their own balcony. The hike up the alley to the street was pretty tough for us old ladies, but we did it. There is a little store at the top with most things you need, I.e., water and wine. We approached Alda to see if she would cook us a Greek dinner in the unit. She came back the next night with a lovely dinner of pastikio , salad and sea bass. Her husband and daughter joined us for the meal and we made a new and wonderful friendship. It was the highlight of our trip to Greece. We highly recommend this unit and loved the view from the balcony to the sea. Church bells rang every night and were a sound to remember. There is lots of walking and hiking up and down hill, Its worth every minute. Maryann had arranged many details and had the van sent to drive us to the airport. Great restaurants just down the hill on the front street. Especially the Italian one. Bring your walking shoes and a cork screw. The view and friendship are provided.

The property was very spacious and easily accommodated the 4 people in our group. Our contact Marian was very helpful and gave us lots of very good tips about what to do and where to go.
Loved the villa and Marianna (host) was so lovely and had great tips and information for us.
The villa is cleaned everyday which was fabulous
Very roomy and comfortable
Very cute & interesting place to stay. The owner was wonderful & assisted with anything we needed. It's pretty hard to find, so I suggest arranging transportation thru the owner ahead of time. You must be able to lug your luggage uphill and thru cobblestone streets, as with most places in this area.

Beautiful cave home near central Thira
We stayed in this lovely cave home for 5 nights. It was actually 2 cave homes with shared courtyards and spa which was perfect for two couples. The homes were spotlessly clean and well appointed with big soft beds and lovely linen. The host was very warm and informative giving us lots of great ideas about things to do and places to eat, as well as local practical knowledge (one of us needed a doctor and we were directed to an excellent clinic). The only small concern is that the rooms were very light making it difficult to sleep past dawn. Perhaps this is something the owners can address. Otherwise, thank you! We had a lovely time.
