The most relaxing break in the most amazing hotel

Where to begin…I’ll start with the first impressions, the most friendly welcome, the welcome drink, the tour of the hotel and facilities it gave a fantastic insight of how the week was going to turn out. Having only 24 rooms meant at times it felt like we had the pool, the bar the spa to ourselves. The most incredible sunbeds by the way, never been on anything more comfortable! The pool area was very high end, aesthetically beautiful, the atmosphere was so laid back and relaxing, the outside bar was so chilled and welcoming you genuinely felt like part of the hotel family! Next the staff, attention to detail in everything and special mention to Mike, Chris and Marios, the front of house and the cleaning staff, so genuine, always on hand to help and guide and especially the great cocktails!! Next the food, breakfast was plentiful, all the usual options, including three egg options, cakes, meats cheeses etc no complaints. We had lunch on 2 occasions and both times were absolutely lovely no complaints at all. Finally the rooms, we had an outside hot tub, a very nice touch, the room was slightly on the smaller side than what we are used to BUT time spent In them wasn’t very long due to wanting to be at the bar area as it was so nice or the local restaurants and bars so no issue to us at all. Finally the beach, 300m away free sunbeds umbrella towels relaxing area and lovely food and drink on order! Thank you Santo Mangata can’t wait to be back!

The staff and property facilities were fantastic, the front desk and restaurant and bar teams really made our holiday. Only a 5 min walk to beach front with many bars nd restaurants to choose from. Easy to get to on the bus to the much busier town of Fira for the views and restaurants. Highly recommended place to stay in Santorini.

All I can say is wow! The hotel was beautiful, the staff was super friendly, & the drinks & food were amazing. My boyfriend and I absolutely loved our room, hanging by the pool, and going to the beach lounge that the hotel partners with. We will definitely be returning & can’t imagine staying anywhere else!

This was the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The staff were all amazing! They were extremely professional, friendly and attentive. They treat you like royalty. The food was awesome. The breakfast spread was amazing. They had so many options to choose from. The facility itself was very clean and looks new. Its ambiance was so beautiful and romantic. I would definitely recommend this place over any other. When we go back to visit we will definitely be staying there! The staff are all great! Mike, Chris, Bianco, Elizabet, Julia and Marios and everyone there actually are some of the nicest people we’ve ever met. We will always be grateful for how wonderful they made our first trip to Greece! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Exceptional Stay at Santo Mangata Hotel Our recent stay at Santo Mangata Hotel exceeded all expectations and left us with wonderful memories of our getaway. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was truly outstanding – the staff went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcomed and well-cared for throughout our entire visit. The room was absolutely gorgeous, featuring elegant décor and thoughtful amenities that created a perfect atmosphere. Every detail seemed carefully considered, from the comfortable bedding to the great outdoor space. The room felt both luxurious and comfortable. The swimming pool area was a definite highlight of our stay. Beautifully maintained, it provided the perfect spot to relax and unwind. One of my favourite parts was the unique bean bag style loungers that were honestly the best I’ve ever experienced. These incredibly comfortable seating options made poolside relaxation an absolute dream. Whether taking a refreshing dip or simply lounging on these amazing sun beds, the pool area offered a serene escape like no other. Breakfast was a delightful each morning, with delicious options that catered to various tastes. The quality of the food was impressive, and the presentation was always appealing. It was the perfect way to start each day of our stay. The hotel’s location proved to be ideal for our needs, walkable to the beach with it’s numerous dining options and bus stop right outside for trips to Fira and onto Oia.

The staff was amazing Biona, Mike, Julia and another young man can’t remember his name. They were friendly and helpful with anything we needed during our stay. The day we arrived it had stormed and they apologized about the jacuzzi tub not being ready, but the next day they got it ready for use. The food at the property was also very good and the free breakfast in morning was tasty as well with warm options too. It was within walking distance to black sand beach with plenty restaurants and places to listen to music shisha, etc.we even rented a squad near by.

I arrived with my daughter and we were the first in the hotel, we were shown around and upgraded to a room with a jacuzzi. We visited Santorini just before the holiday season started so the hotel was not busy, however, every morning they had a full breakfast , pastries, cereals home made jams fruits etc., and a menu to order a cooked breakfast and the same with Dinner, and iy all tasted great Staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful, they catered for everything, Chris and Mike were great I would recommend and would definitely stay at Santo Mangata again Sylvia - stayed 2 - 7 April 25

What a gem. It is a true boutique hotel. It has the most fantastic pool area, with the most comfortable beds, but you also have the luxury in rooms of your own jacuzzi. But its all about the staff! From when you arrive you are met by smiling Stella, when you receive your welcome drink (which is a fantastic rose local wine!) Stelios is charming, Maria knows and guides you through the restaurant menu with great wit, and Nadia with her sweet smile charms you. The food is fantastic! You can eat from set menu or their a la carte so plenty of choice but also only a 5 min walk to the beach where there is a fantastic vegan/ veggie place amongst others. Next door but one is a classic Greek restaurant. Really though, this place is a home from home. All down to Tasos, the incredible Manager. He is always visible, always supporting the team. always encouraging them to deliver a fantastic service by talking to his guests but really listening with genuine interest to keep this hotel the best on the island. I was very tired when I arrived but they lifted my spirits on a beautiful Island! Go!

Even though we arrived late, staff couldn't have been more helpful. We had a tour of the hotel facilties and then we were shown to our room. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was excellent, large with huge bathroom. Looked brand new! Couldn't be more pleased.

Comfortable hotel, excellent location

Very comfortable hotel with good aircon. Perissa beach nearby is long and wide, it was smimmable on most days we were around (the swell can be high with NE winds) and had great seafood restaurants. Welcome drinks and coffee machine / kettle in the room are nice touches. Breakfast is simple and good, with nice outdoor seating.
