This was our last stay in our 2 week trip to Greece and it was perfect! The village is a great place to relax and enjoy Santorini without all the crowds. We had 5 of us traveling and this home was a great fit for what we were looking for - plenty of space with outside areas to enjoy the views of the community. Mark and Christine arranged our pick up at the port, drop off at airport and a catamaran tour. Mark met us at the house upon arrival and gave us the rundown of the home and the village. The home is fully stocked with everything you need. Close to the bus stop that will get you to Fira and Oia easily and a great family bakery just a 10 min walk away. We would all recommend this home and village as a great place to stay while visiting Greece.

We had a wonderful stay at Eirini House. The property is exactly as pictured in the listing. The pool was a little chilly this late in the season but we still used it every day. Mark and Christine were readily available to help out at any time. The village itself is lovely old school Santorini - quiet with a few shops and around half a dozen nice restaurants. All in all we would not hesitate to recommend Eirini House.

A lovely holiday in a lovely house. Mark is a fantastic host and made us feel so welcome. He answered all of our questions and he really did go above and beyond. The house is beautiful. The village is beautiful. All in all, it was a wonderful holiday. We will definitely visit again.

Very charming and clean property and a nice quiet village with plenty of character and things to look at. Away from the hustle and bustle but still accessible by bus. Host were very helpful and friendly. Accommodated four adults and two teenage children splendidly.

Authentic Santorini

This is an authentic Greek village, of the few remaining on the island. It’s small and comparatively quiet, but has plenty of unique shops and tavernas. There is also a bus stop within a three minute walk from the property, which makes access around the island quite easy. The property itself was delightful; bright, clean, nicely furnished with great outdoor space. I highly recommend staying here. The hosts were very helpful and friendly.

Perfect Place In Santorini

We stayed here for a week in August with our 3 university age children. Mark the host coordinated our airport transfers so airport pickup was seamless and he met us at the property which was just as advertised. Very charming place with great pool and AC. Multiple cafes and shops just a few minutes walk away yet very quiet without the crowds. We would return here again without hesitation.

A wonderful house in an idyllic village

Eirini is the perfect base for a holiday on Santorini. The pool and aircon make even the hottest days comfortable. The location couldn’t be better in the village with cafes restaurants and shops in walking distance. The decor is lovely and the house is very well equipped. The mattresses were just right for a good nights sleep. Mark came every other day to clean the pool and it was good to chat to him for tips and recommendations. All in all 10/10 and we hope to visit again one day.

Everything about this listing is exactly as posted and then some. Mark was an excellent communicator and very helpful. The home was absolutely perfect. Every detail was considered during the remodel and it was sparkling clean.

Santorini - Where the Greek Gods Vacation!

The House of Eirini is in a unique location at Megalochori - close to great restaurants with easy access to the hot tourist spots... The house provides for a place to relax & go for a swim at the end of the day. Mark is very responsive and knowledgeable about the entire island with great recommendations! We had a wonderful time!

Beautiful villa, Wonderful stay!

We have had a wonderful stay at Villa Eirini. It is a beautiful villa located in a local village not far from Fira. The Villa is well equipped with gorgeous view from the patio. Owner Mark and his team are excellent, responding to our requests with timely manner and super helpful with our stay. We will definitely come back again!

Fantastic and quaint place off the beaten path Yet close to everything!

Our family loved this property. It was quiet at night for us to rest, but walking distance to all of our needs and exploring Santorini. The owner was fantastic. Let us check in early and was very accommodating and quick to answer questions and tips for exploring the area. Highly recommend!

A quiet paradise on Santorini

We rented this lovely restored home in the charming village of Megalochori and LOVED our stay. Mark was easy to work with and lives just a few doors away should you need his help. The home was perfect for our group and was equipped with everything we needed. We probably spent most of our time outdoors on the terrace where we ate breakfast overlooking the village and the Aegean Sea. It was the perfect home base for our island travels. We rented a car and parked at the top of the hill taking day trips to Oia, Pyrgos, Akrotiri, Perissa Beach, wineries and more. This is the perfect location if you want to be in a quiet spot --with village shops, cafes and restaurants -- without the crowds of the cruise ship destinations further north. Highly recommend the "Eirini" home!

Magnificent Meglachori.

We stayed for a week with our adult grandchildren as a farewell holiday before they all went there separate ways to first jobs and universities. The property was ideal in the traditional village of Meglachori. The week was brilliant the people, restaurants and our host Mark in particular was very professional, efficient and kind. He was helpful with loads of information and tips about the island and the local area. The location in all our opinions was the best part of the island with the southern part better than the very busy north with Fira and Oia being far to busy for our needs. We would hope to come back as a couple in the future. Thank you to Margret, Christine and Mark for helping to make this a memorable occasion.xx

Great spot in Megalochori

We loved this property, very clean. Very easy check in, the owner met us and walked us over. Great property explanation and a very nice refreshing pool. We got some great recommendations in town. Megalochori was fantastic, great restaurants and tavernas as well as some great gelato. The old world charm was fantastic.

Amazing vacation

The host, the property and the location are all 5 stars. Lots of restaurants, gelato shop and shopping all within walking distance. The property is clean and has so much room for me and my family. When we arrived, the host left us with milk, wine, cheese and bread - it was very thoughtful and much appreciated since the kids were starving when we arrived in Santorini. We highly recommend this property!

Great place to stay for Santorini

We spent a few days here. The property location is great very easy to get around and enjoy Santorini. Mark(host) is super helpful and always available whenever needed. Our driver, Panos, was awesome picking us up and dropping us back to the Airport in early hours of the morning. We truly enjoyed this place and hope to repeat soon.

Our Santorini adventure

Our house in Santorini had such a tradition island feel. Everything was clean and comfortable. The bedroom on the top floor had a beautiful little balcony with a view, great place to have coffee in the morning. The front of the house had a beautiful little pergola with a table underneath and lounge chairs to sit around and talk and then for an extra treat it was a small little pool that you cool off in. It is located in a beautiful charming small village. We absolutely loved all the small restaurants, we ended up taking a cooking class in one of the restaurants it was so fun. Our host Mark gave us a complete rundown when we arrived, and was always there to answer any questions.

Super séjour en famille !!

Une semaine en famille dans cette magnifique maison typique et conforme aux photos. La vue est superbe depuis la terrasse. La maison est très bien équipée et la piscine est très appréciable après une journée de visite. Son emplacement est idéale pour les visites sur l’île et le village de Megalochori est aussi très joli et typique avec de nombreux bars et restaurants à proximité. Merci à Mark pour son accueil et ses conseils durant notre séjour. Nous avons tous passé une semaine inoubliable !!

Great property and host

This was a wonderful property for our family of 6 adults. The house was spacious and the outdoor living area is where we spent time when we were there. There is also a very nice pool to use. The host was wonderful and helped us find transportation to and from the airport and around the island. He was available for any question we had throughout our stay. The bus stop is nearby so you can use that transportation as well. It is a very nice quiet village away from the crowds but we felt a great location.
