We loved the location—beach a 3-minute walk and restaurants and center of town within 10-minute walking distance. The view from the balcony was truly lovely. The bedrooms had air conditioning, which was a huge plus during the summer heat.However, there were several issues that impacted our stay. The bathrooms are quite outdated and in need of repairs. When we arrived, the beds were not made, and we had to sort through packets of clean towels and sheets left in the living room to make them ourselves. This was unexpected and not ideal after a long day of travel.While the bedrooms were cool and comfortable, the common areas lacked air conditioning, which made them less enjoyable during the hotter parts of the day.The trash and recycling situation was very confusing. The directions were not clear. We ended up taking it to the nearby refuse center which was a short drive away. One important note for future guests: beach access requires a daily purchase, which is a nominal fee, but availability was limited and, on several days, we were turned away. We ended up driving 20 minutes to other beaches, which defeated the purpose of staying at a beachfront property.Overall, the location and view were highlights, but the property needs updates and better guest preparation, particularly given the cost.
