Pros: Property close to beach access and restaurants . Quiet neighborhood. House decorated cute. Two door codes and one worked.Cons: The house REAKED OF CIGARETTES. We are having to wash everything (clean or dirty) and air out shoes since coming home. We had to keep windows open just to tolerate smell while there. It's in AC system as well. The owner had pkgs arrive while we were there. A stack of them inside on floor. The sofas & rugs were flithy. We used twin bed sheets to cover. The bathtub was dirty. No bar soap in 1/2 bath & freezing when we arrived. The golf cart is rusted & dirty. The backyard was dirty & a mess. Clearly no one has been back there in awhile, as all outdoor furniture was too dirty to sit on. Some ceiling fan remotes need batteries and are programmed same so if you turn on fan or light in one room, it happens in another. No extra blankets for cooler off season nights. The walls have scuff marks everywhere. Beachwalk Vacation Rentals was excellent at sending automated emails and messages of what to do and not do, but never acknowledged our concerns sent on text thread that said you COULD contact them on. We went to Home Goods and bought blankets, air freshners, hand soaps, (they provided little bar soaps upstairs but no soap dishes), extra kitchen towels for our 5 night stay. We shipped home our stuff except for the hand soaps. If the pictures shown was the actual condition of home our rating would be very different.
