The chalet is located in Sankt Margarethen im Lungau, directly in the Salzburgerland. The village is also called the valley town of the top ski area Katschberg/Aineck and offers various amenities for your daily needs and a good selection of restaurants.

The well-known ski resort Katschberg/Aineck is THE ski resort for a perfect skiing and winter holiday! Located directly between the federal states of Salzburg and Carinthia, it offers 80 kilometres of slopes for relaxed and sporty skiing and snowboarding, 17 modern lifts and snow safety thanks to an altitude of 1,170 - 2,220 m. The neighbouring ski areas Grosseck - Speiereck, Fanningberg and Obertauern offer around 250 additional kilometres of slopes for perfect skiing fun!

Located between the local mountain Aineck and the Grainwald, Sankt Margarethen im Lungau is also an ideal starting point in summer for numerous activities in the Salzburg Lungau region. There are around 60 mountain lakes, such as the Prebersee or the Schlierersee, the Lungau/Katschberg golf club is close to the town centre and the idyllic swimming lake in St Margarethen im Lungau, the public swimming pools in St Michael im Lungau, Mauterndorf, Mariapfarr and the BadeInsel in Tamsweg provide the necessary cooling down during hot summer days!

You can also reach the famous Carinthian lakes Millstätter See, Afritzer See and Weissensee within 30-45 minutes' drive by car. In short, Sankt Margarethen im Lungau is a perfect holiday region for both summer and winter holidays!
