$1350 for 3 nights. More than most Disney & Universal. We paid it for our family of four to stay on property for the first ever visit to Cedar Point. Upon checkin, there were five attendants but only two that didnt disapear is the back by the time we got to the front of the line. I think it was Dan/Don who checked us in. He was very disinterested in helping us or welcoming us. Dry & put forth no effort to educate us or explain the hotel/ammenities. I had to ask for four early entry passes as he only handed me two & our reservation clearly stated we were a family of 4. Once we walked in the room we were pleased until I entered the bathroom. There was a bowl full of toilet paper in the toilet unflushed. No waste. I assumed the maid cleaned the toilet & didnt flush it. Then I went to take a shower before bed. Once entering the shower, i turned around and noticed two open, half used, travel size bottles of hotel complimentary hair care/bath wash. Around the edge of the tub, I noticed multiple small hairs (assume pubic hair). Obviously the tub/shower was never cleaned. The maid never cleaned during our stay;only dropped off towels. Beds never were made. I called the property during our visit & was placed into the voicemail for "Paul" of who never returned the call. The beach was pretty until you walked out. Dead bird and fish which had all been dead for a LONG time. Outside/backside needs cleaned in a bad way. SUPER DISAPPOINTED. POOR. DIRTY. MONEY GRAB. STAY AWAY.

The room is “just a room”. You are paying for location and worth every penny! It was wonderful to be able to walk back to our hotel room at anytime. There are two park entrance/exits from the hotel property. Between the park dining plan, trip to Kroger and hotel restaurants, we never left the property for seven 7 nights. Friendly staff. Dated but clean. Wish they would remove the small tub and replace with a walk in shower and shower wand.

The Breakers provides easy walking access to Cedar Point. The on site restaurants are good and entirely fine for a 1-2 night stay. No need to get back in your car to travel to an off site restaurant + there are plenty of dining options in the park. The check in process was arduous and took much more time than checking in at any hotel I’ve stayed at in the recent past. Not sure if it’s their slow reservation software system or check in agent issues, but I spent 20-30 minutes checking in at the front desk, and then later picking up my room keys. And that doesn’t count the time waiting in line. Checkout was much better with better staffing at the front desk.

Property location is great. Convenient to everything - the park and lake. Has a few restaurants inside and Starbucks. Housekeeping was awful - didn’t come everyday, didn’t give towels or soap, didn’t take out trash, etc.

It was next to the park which was nice and convenient. It had restaurants in the hotel which was nice and pretty much just as good as what you could get in the park.

Disappointed with the Value for the Price This was my second stay at Hotel Breakers this month. The first trip, which was three nights, cost over $1,000. This past weekend, I returned for just two nights and my total was nearly $900. For those prices, I expected far better accommodations and service. The rooms are noticeably outdated — from the furniture to the appliances — and not well maintained. The drains were slow, the carpet was visibly dirty, and to make matters worse, there were bugs in the room. The in-room phones do not work at all, and when I tried calling the front desk from my cell phone, I was on hold for 10 minutes. Room service is not prompt, and the overall customer service feels inconsistent. There are too many different staff members with seemingly no consistent system of communication or care. I expected a higher standard from a property associated with Cedar Point, especially at this price point. Sadly, both the condition of the rooms and the lack of service make it difficult to justify ever returning.

The property and rooms were clean and well maintained. The staff, including on site restaurants, were polite, helpful, and seemed eager to please. Our only complaint were the prices of everything. Even with vacation destination markups factored in, be prepared to do a double take at the prices of everything.
