Family Trip

Perfect place for a get away. Everything was great. Bring your own shampoo and bath gel but other than that it was wonderful. Location was perfect. Views from the living room and one of the bedrooms was breathtaking. Would rent again. Garage super smal. Small suv fits but not a full size. No issues. Just park in the driveway.

Elevation House

What a beautiful property! This was our girls’ weekend and we chose the perfect house. The accommodations were just as promised. The only issue we had was the smell of gas the first night we lit the fireplace. We opened windows and turned the gas off. It was strong and we immediately called the after hours number and left a message. No one got back to us until the next day and she apologized. She also stated that other guests had also reported smelling gas. This issue should have been addressed immediately.

Relaxing Stay Next To Ocean

We had a lovely stay to go to Hearst. The multiple picture windows in the living room give a great view of the ocean, crack the balcony door for some air and ocean waves. Comfortable furniture and kitchen essentials. Would stay again for sure.

Beautiful home, incredible view!

This was our 40th anniversary and Cambria has always been our place to go. Renting a home was a first and we are so very glad we did. What luxury, relaxation and views!! The home was so perfectly located to the ocean for the price! We brought groceries but otherwise had nearly everything we needed. Would only say that we couldn’t find the heat control for 2 days and when we found we turned on. Unfortunately that didn’t work. We found we needed to turn it off and turn back on and then it worked like a gem. Would have loved to use the fireplace but there were no instructions. There were old logs in the fireplace and the grate is old and very, very rusted so we didn’t trust trying too use it. That was the one disappointment. Would encourage visitors to bring all bathroom soaps, shampoo, etc. Truly a lovely home to stay at!! Beautiful neighborhood - just perfect!!

Very relaxing home

The only thing that I would improve is how low the shower heads are, my whole family is tall and I wanted to wash my long hair but that would have hurt my back. The rest of the house is awesome

Take in the Sea Air

If you are going to the coast to enjoy the sea air and the view you will be disappointed in this house. I could not find one window that opened for some fresh air and to hear the ocean waves. Most of the locks are broken off, inclding the kitchen and master bath(that window was taped shut. Not sure why..also had problems with wifi and tv and master toilet clogged up...The property mgr did take care of these problems but took some time. The property is lovely, gorgeous views and master bed was very comfortable. The house is welll stocked and we opened doors for air but not ideal solution.

The kitchen was well appointed, plenty of towels. Overall clean. The deck barely fits 4 people. Tight but nice view. NO WINDOWS OPEN THROUGHOUT HOUSE. I had to get a fan from property manager. Windows are in much need of a cleani g! No screens on doors. Overall house needs some maintenance. I wouldn't rent it again at that price.

Ideal location and comfortable home

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the home. The weather didn't cooperate with opportunities to witness and enjoy the magnificent sunsets that we could only imaging hid behind the heavy fog. Our biggest piece of feedback would be to clean the windows in the living room, prior to each guest stay. The view is one of the best parts, and clean windows would be fantastic to arrive to. I tried to clean them the best I could, but would rather it had been done prior. Otherwise we were very happy with our time there and would love to come again.

Coast and Wine Experience

This house was the perfect place to stay to experience the Cambria coast and travel to the many fantastic vineyards in the Cambria, Paso Robles and San Luis Obispo area. The house was comfortable and as pretty as the pictures show. The wine visits were just 30-40 minute trips around the area. Close to Hearst Castle and Moro Bay for more coastal experiences. We would have loved to have a TV in the third first floor bedroom, but otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.

No electricity

The house was as wonderful as the last time we stayed there. Unfortunately the power went out 5 ours after we arrived there. Stayed the night with no electricity or heat. We finally left in the afternoon the next because the power still had not come on. Very sad we didn't get to enjoy the house, we love it there.

More than Expected

Thank you for a wonderful weekend! Sometimes pictures of rentals are deceiving, not this one, it was beyond our expectations! A beautiful view from the entire living area on the top floor, bathrooms for every bedroom, updated, well maintained, and the biggest surprise was the elevator! We will definitely stay here again!
