Noodles Retreat At Casa Lisa is a comfortable beach front home with 5 bedrooms and 4 full baths (about 2340 square foot) on two levels. The upper level has the kitchen, dining and living areas and two bedrooms with have a queen bed and en suite full bath. This level also had a 390 square foot veranda goes the length of the home where you can enjoy gorgeous views of the Caribbean ocean. On the lower level you will find three additional bedrooms one in which is a master suite with private bath, living and dining area. Step outside to find a NEW 30x15 pool with surrounding deck for all the family to enjoy. Take a stroll down our 320ft pier to enjoy the palapa located at the end. Q. HOW DO WE GET TO AMBERGRIS CAYE?

A. Guests arriving to Belize must transfer via regional flight or boat to the island of Ambergris Caye. Most of our guests choose the flight option for its convenience and comfort. The island’s airstrip is in San Pedro town, the only town located on the island of Ambergris Caye. Casa Lisa is located approximately 3.5 miles south of San Pedro town.

Q. HOW DO WE GET TO CASA LISA UPON OUR ARRIVAL TO THE ISLAND?

A. We are pleased to arrange your airport taxi transfers to bring you to the property.

Q. HOW FAR IS CASA LISA FROM THE AIRSTRIP/SAN PEDRO?

Q. HOW DO WE GET AROUND THE ISLAND OF AMBERGRIS CAYE?

A. Your beach home is in the south end area of the island, away from the hustle and bustle of San Pedro Town. While taxi service is available on island (pay direct), most of our guests enjoy the convenience and novelty of renting a golf cart. You must have a valid driver’s license and be over 18 to drive a golf cart. Reservations are required. We are can assist you in reserving the carts.

Q. WHAT IS CASA LISA ADDRESS? CAN I SHIP ITEMS AHEAD?

A. We don’t stand on formalities here on the island. Casa LISA is the comfort gray
colored house, locate at the 3.5 miles marker south of San Pedro town. Correct location V2J5+PP San Pedro, Belize

There is no such thing as overnight courier service to/from Belize and the services that exist can be expensive and timely. Additionally, your items could get stuck in customs – for a very long time. In other words, shipping your items to Belize is not advisable.

Q. WHAT’S INCLUDED WITH OUR HOME RENTAL?

A. We start you off with the basics: Coffee, coffee filters, sugar, salt, pepper, paper towel, dish soap, toilet tissue, laundry soap, hand soap, shampoo and body wash.

A. Yes, all the bedrooms are air-conditioned.

A. A charcoal grill is provided, we can provision your home with charcoal with notice.

A. Complimentary WIFI is included. Please note that WIFI service in Belize will not be as fast or reliable as you are accustomed to and may not be suitable for streaming entertainment.

A. No, fishing equipment is not included, however feel free to ask our staff if we have any rods in working condition once you arrive.

Q. HOW IS THE BEACH? CAN WE SWIM OFF THE BEACH?

A. The beaches of Belize have Seagrass or "Turtle Grass" growing, this is harmless and in fact is an important part of Belize’s ecosystem. This grass can grow in our shallow waters as we have such strong protection from the World's second largest barrier reef. This means our waters are warm, calm, and shallow for quite a way out and we do not for the most part of traditional walk-in beaches. For guests wishing to swim in the Caribbean, our dock has stairs leading into the water, diving is not permitted. Please note: periodically, Belize, along with other areas of Central America, The Caribbean, Mexico, and USA, will experience periods of Sargassum Seaweed washing ashore. Sargassum Seaweed comes from the Sargasso Sea in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean and is normally kept at bay by water temperatures and currents. We work diligently to keep our beach clear; however, guests should be aware when visiting coastal areas that seaweed may be present.

Q. IS THERE A POOL ONSITE?

A. We have a new full sized pool in the yard where you can cool down while enjoying the Caribbean views and breezes. We do provide some pool floats as long as they have not been damaged by other guests.

Q. DO YOU PROVIDE POOL TOWELS?

A. We provide one pool towel per person. We are happy to swap towels if requested.

Q. CAN WE DRINK THE WATER?

A. We start you off with 5-Gallons of purified drinking water in a dispenser. Additional 5-gallons can be provided upon request.

Q. IS THERE A DUTY-FREE SHOP ON THE ISLAND?

A. There is no duty-free shopping available on island. When you arrive in Belize, there is a duty-free shop at baggage claim where you can stock up on liquor and other items if you’d like.

Q. HOW CAN WE GET GROCERIES?

A. We can provide recommendations for provisioning services in advance of your arrival or you can grocery shop once you are on island.

Q. ARE THERE RESTAURANTS, BARS OR GROCERY STORES NEARBY?

A. STAX Coffee bar/restaurant, open seasonally during the day, is located a short walk from our house. The nearest small store is approximately 1.5 miles north as are Black Orchid and Someplace South restaurants. Be sure to tell them Noodle sent you.

The location is great and the view fabulous. The owner was nice and checked us in. The house was clean and spacious. The bunk beds were pretty cool with how big they were. Easily could have fit adult couples on them if that’s your thing. There were only minor negatives about the property. A bit worn with screen doors not staying in the tracks or functioning really. The pool deck and the pier were nice to have, but beware the wood is weaponized with splinters. Had to do many an extraction from various footsies. We were provided one water jug with the option to purchase more, which was surprising to us considering the amount of people they accommodate. The other 3 places we had stayed (long trip) provided two at no additional charge. Laundry was said to be available at mid stay. We were there from Sunday to Sunday and were only allowed to use it on Friday. I get they had their own laundry to do for their properties, but at that point it was a bit useless to us. Folks staying with us had packed with the advertised laundry service in mind. Overall a pretty nice place. A bit pricey for what it is, but we had a good time.

Amazing house!

House was just as described, we absolutely loved the location and the house. Everything was comfortable and the owner super helpful-they connected us with boat captains, private chefs, guided tours, and responded quickly every time we had questions. Belize is beautiful and this was a perfect vacation for our family.

Property was lovely, well-equipped, and clean. We loved our stay and Iris was very helpful with local knowledge and water refills. Only frustrating part was not knowing in advance that anyone could use the "private" dock, cabana, and beach area from 6am-6pm. There was a fairly constant stream of people fishing, docking their boats, or hanging out on the dock throughout the stay.

We really enjoyed staying at noodles. We appreciated the two bunk rooms and had enough space for our large group. Ed was very accommodating and Iris was quick to help with whatever was needed. The house is about a 20 min drive from town but there are a few places to eat nearby (within 5 min)

Great place to stay!

Had a wonderful week at Casa Lisa. Transportation from the airport to the property were taken care of for us by the owner and was seamlessly and they arranged to have our golf carts at the property for when we got there. Ed, the property owner, Iris, property caretaker, and Iris’ young son (sorry, I don’t remember his name, but he is the sweetest young man) met us when we arrived to let us know about the property, things to do, answered any questions and let us know how to get a hold of them during our stay. Iris checked in with us daily to see if we needed anything and responded right away (only reached out to her a couple of times during our stay) when we sent her a message. Iris and her family live on the property in the back, but they respected our privacy the entire time and it felt like we were the only ones on the property. The house was perfect for our group of 9 (4 couples and 1 single). Everyone had their own room and we never felt like we were tripping over each. The house is close enough to San Pedro that it was super easy to take a short golf cart ride to be a part of the huddle and bustle of the town and far enough away to still be quiet and relaxing with restaurants, bars and grocery stores only 5 minutes away. Coffee at the end of the pier in the morning is the best way to start the day and the pool was a great place to relax after a day of touring. All in all, it was a great week and we can’t wait to plan our next stay!!

Our family spends two weeks every February at a VRBO on a beach somewhere in the Caribbean. We have stayed at places where the pictures don't accurately showcase the property and were SO pleased that the pictures of Noodles Resort were 100% accurate!The place was amazing! Warm, comfortable, on the beach, beautiful pool, amazing common spaces and comfortable beds. Warm showers and fantastic staff waiting to help you with every need.The owner Ed was super helpful and very responsive to our every request..even the minor issues. Take him up on his offer to help you get from the airport with his connections!We bought crab on the beach from someone who dove for it that morning and Iris (Ed's caretaker) made dinner for us and it was spectacular. Nice size bedrooms with private bathrooms for each. Perfect for a family who wants to spend time together but also likes to have some time to relax by themselves.We cannot say enough about this place. It's reasonable for what you get and definitely something families will enjoy...as would couples, seniors and singles :)

Great Stay on Ambergris Caye

Lisa and Ed did everything possible to make our stay fantastic. We were two families with 8 people total and the house was more than big enough for everyone to have plenty of room. The pool, pier, and area for games provided plenty of options for activities at the house, and we enjoyed golf carting around the island. The house was clean and in great condition. Caretakers Iris and Eldon took great care of us.

Wonderful family vacation!

We had an amazing stay at Noodle’s Retreat, the house was perfect for our family, queen sized bunk beds for the teens, ensuite bathrooms for the adult couples. Lisa and Ed are perfect hosts, gave us the lay of the land and organized all of our activities and transportation. The big table was great for family dinners and games of cards. The dock is beautiful and we even saw sting rays from it. Snorkeling was a lot of fun and the golf carts were a fun adventure on the bumpy roads to town. Huge thanks to Ed, Lisa, Iris and family!

Very Nice

We had a very nice time. The hosts were amazing with helping us set up everything we needed on the island. This included transportation and scuba diving, as well as recommendations for restaurants. They were able to set up scuba excursions for us, where we were picked up at the dock.This made for a great experience and saved us a lot of time. The road to the house was in bad shape the first few days. By the end the city had graded it and it was much better. When the road is in bad shape it makes it hard to get around. The bugs are very bad at dawn and dusk and after it rains.

An amazing stay at Casa Lisa on Ambergris Caye!

Our family of 8 had an amazing week at Casa Lisa. The property is picture perfect (exactly as shown in the property pictures). Ed, Lisa and Iris were there to welcome us and had our golf carts waiting. Iris and her family were available all week for whatever needs or questions we had. Snorkeling right off their dock was a much enjoyed activity! Everyone enjoyed the sea kayaks that are right on the property, as well as the immaculate pool. Beautiful sunrises, great restaurants nearby and the Hol Chan Marine Reserve is directly on the reef within view of the property. Thanks so much Iris, Ed and Lisa!! And Noodle of course!

Fabulous time at a fabulous villa

Everything was outstanding! Communication before and throughout the trip was fantastic! Lisa, Ed, Iris and Eldon made sure every detail was covered… From making sure we had someone to help us once we landed, to comfortable beds, stocked supplies, a huge layout for socializing, great beach and pool, all within a beautiful villa with amazing views, arranging golf carts and fun excursions, plus an amazing birthday surprise, and everything in between, all was handled! Unbeliezable adventure!

I really cannot say enough about our stay at Noodles. On our last day, we commented to each other that I didn’t think the reviews did this place justice at all. The location of the house is honestly perfect. There are many grocery stores- small and large - very nearby. We chose to go most often to Caribbean chicken- off the advice of the locals. Prices were good and the meat was great. This part of the island also have cute coffee shops, fresh bakeries, fruit stands - without going all the way into town. But if you want to- you are there in 15-20 minutes. The drive is fun and easy. Directly next door is stacks- where Robin, a great bartender can serve your late night drinks. That was fun! We also enjoyed Island wonder- a sea side bar for great whole fish! We loved the pool, bocci ball, bag games and swimming off the Peer. Every day- Iris checked in with us, answered every text within minutes, ensured my laundry was done. Never missed a beat. Ed and lisa, even tho they have iris are equally as attentive to any other needs you have. And are right nearby. Lastly, Issac, the little boy on the property- was a special treat! Don’t hesitate to book!

Great stay for a large group

We had a great time staying at Noodles retreat. We were a large group and the house accommodated all of us with a little bit of extra room. Ed one of the owners was very helpful making sure to get the golf carts and taxis for us. Iris was really helpful in telling us where to go for groceries and such. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were very comfortable. The pool was great and the little kids enjoyed it a lot. We didn’t use the kayaks because we were too busy but they were there. There isn’t a “beach” into the water but you can get in from the pier. The internet worked well and we even watched a show or two on a rainy day. The owners do have the property managers come every day and do a check in, which I didn’t know ahead of time and caused some of our group to feel a little managed. It would have been good to know ahead of time. Overall we enjoyed our stay and loved San Pedro!!

First time our family visited San Pedro island. Ed, Lisa, Iris greeted us at the house upon arrival, explained clearly about the house,recommended good restaurants. Excellent hosts- quick respond, helped us to resolve issue with golf cart and excursion. They helped to arrange golf cart delivery, transportation from/to airport, . Everyday Iris & her family go extra miles to help us with everything we need with the house so we can feel like home (light up bbq pit, right boat for excursion,etc). House is very spacious. AC is very cool in each room. Big kitchen, and dinning area. We loved the house, very cleaned, good beds, nice pool,. Big patio & deck upstairs. A safebox is in upstairs bedroom. We feel safe here. Next door neighbors also beach rental, nice & friendly! Weather was hot & humid during our stay so pool was awesome! This island is not like white sand beach in Pensacola! Secret beach is 50-60mins by golf cart, and road is bumpy & dusty. Nice beach, no sand, you stepped a few concrete steps to go down to water, clear water but a lot of water bugs that stick to you. They don’t sting or bite. We used Ambergris Dive company for "island day tour"& intro dive-awsome! About food-We booked catering 3 nights before we arrive, but when we arrived we found out( from Ed) so many places that you can eat out much cheaper &variety of food too ($20-$30usd).Definitely stay here again.Bring bugs spray(alot mosquitos in town),use mineral sun block to protect the reefs &the sea animals.

Wonderful stay south of San Pedro

Iris, Lisa and Ed were awesome hosts, thanks guys. We had a family scuba trip with 5 of our adult children. The dive company picked us up every morning at the dock and we used the outside shower to rinse us and our gear off, it was super convenient. Everyone had a room with AC and enough bathrooms for everyone. I particularly liked that this house had an inside stairway, several properties have an outside stairway. The house is about 20 minutes south of San Pedro and felt safe and quiet. Our kids went out every night to "Stax" and "Drink and Drive" which are a few minutes away. We tried kayaking but with the trade winds blowing onshore, we just paddled into the wind until we were tired, jumped in the water and floated back to the dock with the kayak (there is a lot of boat traffic so we stayed with the kayak and kept an eye out). The diving is great, the Blue Hole is geologically amazing, Hol Chan night dive is dreamy (lots of rays in the moonlight), other dives had great visibility, health coral and lots of sea creatures. Iris took care of our every need, thanks! (Iris-2, Lisa -1, Ed-1 :D )

Wonderful owners

We received the best advice, support, communication and guidance from Ed. The owners of the property handled reservations, discussed amenities in detail, offered assistance in every aspect of our trip from renting a golf cart, to provisioning, from airport transfers to arranging a bbq. Their attention to detail and communication was second to none!
