Our hosts, Carlos & Aida were warm and welcoming. Excellent staff and attentive to our needs. Lovely breakfast each morning and plenty of coffee. Location is perfect for walking to restaurants, shops, and exploring the neighborhoods. Will definitely stay here again should we find ourselves in San Miguel.

Casa Laní is the perfect place to visit San Miguel. Right in the center of the city, yet a few blocks from the noise and crowds. The rooms are just perfect: everything with great taste and quality. The service is personal and you feel at home.

A perfect B&B, the owner/host, Carlos, was very pleasant and helpful, the breakfasts delicious, and the property immaculate. As an alternative to the excellent small hotels in San Miguel you trade some amenities for the personal touch - well worth the trade-off. Easy walking to the Jardin and all of centro.

The hosts Carlos and Aida were lovely. The home is beautifully refurbished, but the doors and windows are thin and you hear other guests who are out in the courtyard very loudly. I was annoyed that even though there were many courtyard breakfast tables, the hosts chose to put a very loud couple right in front of my room and they were loud there for over an hour eating breakfast. Mainly, it is very expensive for what you get and I also was locked out by another guest. They have to change this system. One's safety cannot be at the whim of a careless guest. I was there alone and got locked out at 10:00 pm. This is not fun. It look several attempts to get Carlos' attention.

This property is a hidden gem. The owners were extremely communicative and greeted us at the door. She introduced herself and made restaurant recommendations and offered to book reservations. The property itself was very beautiful and modern. It felt like you were staying at a home away from home which is what she said her goal was. Breakfast was also something to look forward to as she sets a place mat for you and offers to cook anything you'd like, with the help of her staff. Everyone was always very gracious and accommodating. I would recommend this to anyone who wishes to have an intimate bed and breakfast experience.

From the moment your are greeted by gracious Aida and Carlos you have stepped into the essence of San Miguel de Allende. The property is very beautiful, the rooms are spacious with very soothing decor. The staff are incredibly efficient, kind and attentive. Breakfast is delicious and served making you feel like royalty. I will not consider staying any where else when I return. Aida and Carlos truly make you feel like a dear friend in their beautifully maintained property. Magnificient!!!!

A wonderful experience! At Casa Lani every aspect of our stay was memorable & a joy! Hosts Carlos & Aida were extremely helpful, making us feel at home and helpful with making arrangements to both tour San Miguel de Allende and making a day trip to Guanajuato. The B&B was roomy, excellent amenities, spotlessly clean, exquisitely decorated and ideally located in the historic city center. The B&B staff were most efficient, helpful and courteous! All of the above made our stay a wonderful experience. We will definitely visit SMA & Casa Lani again!

This B&B is located within the historic district, with adjacent parking. Don Carlos and his lovely wife have renovated this entire property and created contemporary style en suites each having a private entrance. Mexican hospitality is personified here where breakfast is served in the classic center courtyard under an ancient jacaranda! Ever romantic, Case Lani is a place where church bells are heard, and comfort awaits!
