We did not realize that this hotel hosts weddings on the top floor. They had weddings Friday, Saturday and Sunday with music blasting until midnight. On Saturday, people staying at the hotel after the wedding made noise until 2am, then smoked in the room, triggering the fire alarm. The poor desk employees could not turn off the fire alarm and it blasted until 6am. We slept in our car.

Everyday construction, toilet don’t flush, Tv do not work correctly, tiny shower was full of sand not clean. After all this call the front desk for a complimentary late check out they charge me until 2pm $43 even that I told all this bad things I was going through. Bathroom is so small if you weight more than 200 pounds won’t work.

We booked this hotel because the pics online made it look clean, located directly across from a beach, and a nice pool area. Well, the rooms smelled like smoke, hair in the shower, carpets were dirty, and the door didn’t close well. We had to report it because it was actually breaking. The maids did come in each day and tidy up which was nice. The front office staff weren’t very friendly, and one gal practically rolled her eyes at me when I asked for an extra room key. The neighborhood was kinda sketchy, didn’t feel safe walking at night. The beach across the street is known by locals as Playa Cochino (dirty/nasty beach). The ONLY redeeming thing about this hotel is their pool! It was clean and updated. The family spent a lot of time out by the pool. Overall, I would not recommend this location.

The room was nice. However, there was wedding being held and event was taking place right over my room and I was not able to get any sleep intil the event was over. While I appreciate that a note was left in the room notifying me about the event, I still think that when events of this type are being held they should not book the room directly below or adjacent because of the noise. When I spoke to reception they were unable move me. I would not stay here again.
