Great proximity to Poas Volcano! Beautiful view and cozy room. The bathtub did not get very hot, but probably just due to its large size. The property is very well-maintained and breakfast was delicious! Also helpful and friendly staff (including Coco, the large white fluffy dog). I wish we stayed longer!

We lived this quirky Mtn hotel. A collection of various cabins, containers, tents, grand old trees, beautiful gardens in a farm setting complete with donkey! Beautiful views across the mountains. Loved the local community vibe as well. Breakfast was very tasty in a lovely setting. The only negatives were beds are very firm, be prepared and the room had a huge tub, but not enough hot water to even fill it 1/4 full. Still, would stay here again for the idyllic setting. If you love the outdoors and peaceful solitude this is the place to stay in Poas for reasonable price.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast in the morning was fabulous. My partner and I really loved the tub. The shower was very nice, good water pressure and never ran out of hot water filling the giant tub and taking hot showers. It was a very unique property which was beautiful to walk around and interact with the dogs and other animals on the property.
