The service was hit or miss When we checked in, our room was not ready we were told we would be notified once our room was ready I didn't hear from anyone by 5 o'clock, so I called them told me my room was ready Room was not a view of the looking out into the ocean We asked for water bottles we were told only one program per day after we were told somebody would bring three bottles up. They never show. The shower only had trickles of water coming out and could barely take a shower Housekeeping was running the vacuum at 7:30 in the morning to clean rooms

The front desk staff was nice but was no help with info about the area. Restaurants, tourist spots etc. Valet staff on the other hand was Extremely friendly and helpful with recommendations in the area. We came in from Michigan so they were very helpful.

Shower pressure was poor and the drains smelt while showering. The sound proofing was very bad. Next doors phone alarm went off at 6am and woke both of us up. Not sure if this was made worse as we were given and interconnecting room.

The stay here was alright, I wasn't expecting too much given the good location but several things were pretty disappointing. I'll list the pros and cons here. Pros: Great location! Was visiting with family new to SFO, and this location worked out great for doing touristy things as well as eating out. The hotel's breakfast buffet was convenient but nothing really tasted good. The valet service was convenient albeit expensive. Overall clean and comfortable. Cons: Lights: Lights in the room need to be of reduced wattage. They were so awfully bright (especially the bedside ones without zero dimming options) that we balked from turning them on. They were warm white at least, but felt like those awful LED lights on every car these days. Room Condition:Broken Sink countertop that made me afraid of using the sink because it's so easy to touch that part. Entire edge was coming off. One bed sheet was torn. I took pictures. Rooms Far Apart: I requested adjoining or at least close rooms. This request was not honored- one room was *19 and the other was *49. Probably not coming back.
