Lovely Mission Bay Retreat

This is a beautiful 3 bedroom home that is very well appointed. It is right on the bay and super convenient for enjoying the water with a front and side patio. The kitchen is small but very nice appliances. Every bedroom has a nice TV and many channel options. The beds are very comfortable and the bedding is very nice. You won’t be sorry if you select this home.

Labor Day Weekend

This property was exactly as promoted on the website. Lots of space, beautiful beach es and very close to many attractions. Only one negative. Ants. We quickly realized all food needed to be refrigerated. Otherwise, it was a lovely and comfortable home away from home. I would definitely recommend this vacation home.

Great home on the Bay

Just visited this bayfront home for a week with family and had a great time going between the bay and ocean. The home is really great for families and offers larger than average size family room and bedrooms. The kitchen is a bit small but features a Wolf gas-range and the outside BBQ works well and is in good shape. The kitchen utensils, pots, pans, etc need to be upgraded to meet the quality of the home. The living room has a large overstuffed "leather" sectional that is great for the kids and family to relax and look out over the bay. The master bedroom is above the living room and has several fantastic large windows looking out over the bay and adjacent marina. Overall, a reall great property.

Wonderful Property

This property was perfect for our family. Great location for small kids to play in the sand and water. Home was beautiful and wonderfully stocked with everything we needed. Management texted each day to see if we needed anything and was very accommodating when we arrived a little early. We will definitely return!

Beautiful bayfront home

The location of this home was a dream - we came from the east coast, so with the time change our kids were awake by 5:30 am every morning, and we would all go out and play in the sand for an hour watching the dogs and bikers go by on the boardwalk, before walking to Better Buzz for coffee at 6:30 am. The layout was perfect with the bedrooms all on one level, which we need with young kids. We walked to the catamaran to rent a family bicycle, and we walked to the playground on Fanuel almost everyday. Great location, close to amenities & being on the bay was nice because we didnt get the wind from the ocean! I highly recommend.

Spectacular

Location is idyllic right on the bay/boardwalk with gorgeous views and access to sand and boardwalk. Walk west and you can access many restaurants and then across the street and you are at the beach. Staying on bayside is peaceful but beach access also fantastic. From the master bedroom, you feel like you are on a cruise ship...that close to water. House is beautiful, clean, comfortable, quiet, stylish, and open. Bayside patio with heated table, bbq...great place to hang out. Highly recommend. We loved our staycation!

Mini-Vacation

Our family stayed at this property during the first week of December. Our group of 7 adults, a toddler, and an infant fit comfortably and had ample room to cook, dine, and lounge both inside and outside of the house. The home is a little dated but has had some renovations/updates. It had newer appliances (w/d, dishwasher, kitchen appliances, etc) and was stocked with all the basics. Other than food, we didn't have to go to the store for essential dry goods (soap, detergents, paper towels, trash bags, etc.) The location of the house was perfect; right by the bay, walking distance to the ocean. Lots of foot traffic on the weekend but quite during the week. We had a couple of neighbors remind us to lock up our SUP's, bikes, and kayak d/t high theft. Fortunately, we didn't have a problem. Upon arrival, there were a few minor issues that were easily communicated with the Property Manager. 5 stars to Blue water Vacation for their consistent and open communication. Would recommend!

Wonderful Rental

I rented this home with my fiancé and three friends and we all absolutely loved this home. The location is perfect, quick 10-15 minute rides into downtown San Diego, 15 minute walk from a large grocery store and bar area in Pacific Beach and about 100 steps from a good taco place and 2 coffee shops in addition to several other restaurants within a 5 minute walk on Mission Beach. The rental itself was immaculately clean, furniture all seemed brand new and communication with management was quick and easy via text messages or phone. When you rent a house right on the Bay you do have people walking by just outside your gate on the bay front path but it was still pretty quiet and nobody bothered us (almost exclusively people walking dogs or exercising). We initially thought it was a 3-bathroom rental but it’s technically 2.5 with a full shower in the garage presumably for washing off from the beach. My family is already considering renting this property because my friends and I loved it so much!

Lovely home!

We had a wonderful time at this property. The property management was communicative and responsive. The home had all the amenities listed and then some! Open the living doors and the view of the bay is amazing. House is comfortable with AC in each room and fans. Our family had a great time at both the bay and the beach (which is just a few minute walk across the main road). Lots of things within walking difference. Would definitely stay again!

Exceptional View and Accommodations

From the moment we arrived we were thrilled with our vacation home choice. It was so nice to have a garage to park in and the shower in the garage was great after a sandy day at the beach. The view was spectacular from the kitchen to the living room to the primary bedroom. The furnishings were high end and the finishes were beautiful. An example would be the downstairs tile flooring that looked like copper. It was both elegant and functional. A quick sweep with a broom removed any sand we may have brought in accidentally. And the soaking tub was so relaxing after a day of kayaking on the bay. We would highly recommend this home and location. Just a short drive to downtown San Diego and La Jolla. And a 2 minute walk to the beach without the concern of parking, since your car is securely parked in your own garage. Best vacation ever.

Location, location and location!

We had an amazing stay at this property. Watching the sunrise on the bay in the morning and walking a few blocks to the beach to watch the sunsets. The common spaces are really nice. We enjoyed hanging out on the front patio people watching, watching fireworks every night and relaxing. Our party was 4 adults and 3 teenagers. The beds were all comfortable and everyone had space. Only surprise was that only the master and bunk bed room had air conditioning. This was a little uncomfortable due to the heat. The property management was very responsive and delivered some fans to help. Also the pull out couch downstairs is actually a small futon so if your planning on that as a sleeping space it would only work for a small adult or child. There are so many great restaurants within walking distance. We did not need a car. We just took ubers to and from the airport and did an Instacart delivery for food. It was a true vacation. There are two great beach rental shops a block away (Rays and Radzz) where we rented chairs, bikes, paddle boards, skate boards, and umbrellas for the week. Highly recommend this property for the location and comfortable set up.
