The views are million dollar views. The unit was clean and we concur with the vast majority of the other reviews. Our biggest issue and it was problematic was parking. Had we been made aware in advance of booking the unit that a full size SUV would not fit in the garage, we would not have booked. We weren’t made aware until 48 hours before arrival of the height restriction( garage was built in the 1970’s) and only offers 6’6 clearance. Nearly all full size SUV’s won’t fit which many would need with a 3 bedroom unit and luggage for 5 people. When I found out, I immediately called the corporate number before arrival and was told, the full size SUV hadn’t been an issue. When I checked in, it was a completely different answer. Admittedly, I was angry and informed the gentleman I had specifically addressed this issue. His response was defensive and said,”who did you speak to? It wasn’t me. We have several locations.” I called the m as in number and asked him, don’t you work for the same company?” He offered a lot a distance from the building and I would have to pay additional for the week or park on the street ( good luck with parking at Pacific Beach without paying). He then spoke with security and offered a solution to allow me to park in the 15 minute loading zone ( only 2 spots) for my stay. It worked for the most part for my stay with exception of instances where the other spot was taken by a handicap person and/ or others unloading. Thus, we felt misled in the advertising.
