Fantastic Family Getaway at The Oakloft in San Antonio!

Our family had an incredible time at The Oakloft! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed—especially with the generous Tiff’s Treats cookies waiting for us, which my wife and teens devoured!The heated pool, hot tub, and game room were a huge hit, keeping everyone entertained. The home is in a quiet, upscale neighborhood but still close to Fiesta Texas, The Shops at La Cantera, and two HEB stores for quick grocery runs.The house is fully stocked with everything you need, including a great BBQ pit, plenty of towels, and a variety of Keurig coffee pods. The owner checked in to ensure we were comfortable, and we loved seeing deer roaming the area.If you're visiting San Antonio and want a perfect blend of relaxation and fun, I highly recommend The Oakloft!

The best winter getaway!

We stayed at the Oak loft during Christmas break and it was wonderful. The pictures shown of the house on VRBO are accurate. The owners keep up with the maintenance and it is super clean. The owners are also very helpful and respond quickly if we had any questions. We paid for the heated pool/hot tub since it is winter, and it was absolutely wonderful. We swam everyday, a couple times a day, and it was just the right temperature. The highlights include fresh baked warm cookies, amazing smelling hand soaps, the warmth of the pool/hot tub, and the close proximity to so many family friendly activities. We highly recommend Oak loft for your next vacation.

Thanksgiving

We had a great stay. The house was very clean and provided shower and kitchen items, including some spices and salt and pepper. The game room was fun for our kids to have available. The beds were also very comfortable. We did not heat the pool, but it was very clean, and beach towels were also provided.

Nothing less than amazing

Everything was perfect, the location, the communication, the pool and game room. The house is beautiful and everything we needed was provided. Definitely recommend this property. This was a 10 out of 10 experience.

Great stay

Beautiful home that was exactly as described. It was a great place to use as home base while exploring the area. Pool was great and we appreciated having it since it was hot while we were there. We also enjoyed the game room. This was a great location - seemed to be able to get anywhere we wanted within 20 minutes. Good sleeping areas to accommodate 4 teens/young adults.

This house was perfect for our family get together. The family loved having the pool and pool table when we were not seeing the sights. The place was clean and the owner was easy to contact. We had no troubles. We enjoyed a quiet, comfortable, lovely environment. We will definitely be looking to stay here again.

Eclipse and Enchanting City

10 family members came from California and Michigan to immerse ourselves in the Total Eclipse on April 8. Our group included 4 kids from ages 10-13 and 6 adults of varying ages. We wanted a great home to call headquarters while spending much of our time exploring San Antonio and "chasing" the Eclipse to experience the greatest conditions and most time in "totality". All of our needs were met! Everyone loved the pool and hot tub. MANY games of billiards were enjoyed at all hours. Easy access to groceries, downtown, the airport and the freeways. The kids were a bit older, so it was nice for all of us that there were ways for the kids to have time away from the adults...and vice versa. We enjoyed eating dinner outside later in the evenings, as well. We would definitely choose the Oak Loft house for future visits to San Antonio!

Fun and amazing location!

We stayed here for a cousins weekend and enjoyed our time so much! So many in-house activities and a great pool to enjoy. The property manager was easy to contact and quickly responded to our needs. The cookies were so good and a nice treat! We would definitely love to stay again if the opportunity arises.

Great place to stay in San Antonio

The house is awesome great location and lots of activities for the family. My children and grandchildren enjoyed the and the play room they were clean and great. The hosts were very thoughtful leaving everything you need for a stay. After a day at sea world the kids were excited to get back to the house. We had a great time.

Amazing experience!

This house has it all. Located in a quite neighborhood, they provided the necessary stuff that is needed; kitchen utensils, cookware, dish soap, etc. Communication with the property manager was great. We had a bit of an issue with the temperature of the pool (however, no one was to blame as there was a heat advisory) and the property manger quickly came up with a solution. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place. Will be coming back for sure. Please don’t hesitate on booking this place!

Clean soft place to land

Wonderful house, very clean, and appreciated all the beds for our fam of 8! Owners are very responsive, kind, and considerate! Probably our best house we have ever rented over the years with our big family! The only thing I would change is the washer. While I know it’s brand new, it does not have an agitator and my opinion is that those should not even be legal to sell! I’ve had one before and never again. Lol But it was not a deal breaker - SUPER house and WONDERFUL Owners!

The home was beautiful and clean. Communication was good regarding questions/concerns. We're San Antonio natives and would definitely make this property our "Home away from Home". Also, the Tiff's Treat was a pretty cool welcoming gift :)

Excellent Location & CLEAN

Our family of 4 had an excellent time staying at Oak Loft. No negatives whatsoever and tons of positive. They had yummy treats waiting for us when we arrived which was a nice touch. We couldn’t get over how comfortable the beds were too. The washer/dryer came in handy for sure, and of course the hot tub and pool were a huge hit. Kitchen is stocked with some spices and tons of cooking utensils. Game room was an awesome bonus. Seriously you can’t go wrong here. Ideal location, easy access to airport, downtown SA, and hill country! Thank you so much to the owners for providing this luxurious space!!

Great house and pleasant stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Oak Loft House! We had lots of room for our family of 6! We enjoyed the game room and the great kitchen the most! The house is in an older neighborhood. The house was nicely updated on the inside but the outside could use a little love, especially the yard around the pool. The house in general was very pleasant. We enjoyed the pool for the first couple of days of our stay. We had some issues with the heat pump and the pool and hot tub would no longer heat. Communication with the host was great and we were refunded our pool heat money. But it did impact our stay as we could no longer use the pool in the 50 degree weather. It impacted our plans and for that we had to give it a 4 star rating. We appreciated the great communication and the cleaning fee was worth it as it wasn't required of us to do any cleaning before we left. It truly felt vacation worthy for that alone! I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a place to stay in San Antonio.

Perfect home for our family

For health reasons, our family requires a scent free home and many cleaners and detergents are an issue. The owners were fabulously accommodating!! They bought the scent free detergent we use in our home and washed linens in it. They switched to it way ahead (I think one month) so that any scent residue was gone. This was so reassuring and so incredibly appreciated!! We did reach out to them a couple times during our 10 day stay and their responses were always quick and helpful. We made great use of the pool, spa and game room. So nice to have those spaces! The neighborhood was quiet and felt very safe. Overall the house was exactly what we were looking for and we would stay again if we return to the area.
