The room stunk like cigarette smoke, the A/C made a terrible rattling sound, the blinds would not shut. I called to get moved to another room and the front desk said they would send up a maintenance man. The maintenance man wanted to argue about the smell. I had already used my rescue inhaler, I know what cigarette smoke smells like. No other rooms available. So I checked out and left. Still waiting on my credit

Staff was absolutely amazing. Room was very outdated and very worn. Safe did not work and we had to get someone to get the TV to work because they were having internet issues. We booked the trip thru Travelocity (big mistake!) and was not given any indication that there was not free parking. I have to give a big kudos on the bed though. It was so comfortable and clean! I slept like a baby every night I was there!

The location is good, and the area around the hotel is quiet, which was a plus. The hotel itself is fairly dated and could really use a refresh. The room was functional and met basic needs, but it showed a lot of wear and tear. A remodel would definitely benefit this property. That said, I was on the go most of the time, so the room was mainly just a place to sleep, shower, and get ready, and it served that purpose fine. The restaurant and bar in the lobby were nice. The bartender was awesome—she stayed open late for my group and played music for us, which made for a great experience. The price was reasonable for the stay. Overall, it worked for this trip, but it would not be my first choice if I were to visit San Antonio again.

The room was just ok. The lobby bathroom was very dirty. They should replace the trash cans and do a detailed cleaning. They told us later about getting a microwave. The staff was awesome. Naomi was the best at the bar!
