Sue and Chris run a wonderful little B&B in their carriage home above their detached garage. Guests have their own entrance, fenced garden, hottub and outdoor seating area. Sue brings you the most delicious homemade breakfasts in the morning. We had scones, muffins, granola, fruit salad and an eggs benny hash over our 2 night stay. She even included a little treat for our dog each morning. The bathroom fan does turn on and off through the night, so if you are a light sleeper, maybe bring earplugs. Overall, a wonderful place to stay, a block and a half from the lake. Would definitely stay there again in the future.

We had a lovely stay in the Garden Room. Wonderful breakfasts delivered to the room via a "dumb waiter " type device. Comfortable bed, relaxing hot tub, spacious room and bathroom. The only negative was hearing footsteps from above in the morning and evening, very definite footsteps. Very nice hostess

Very clean suite inside and friendly hosts. Originally we had booked the other suite, for privacy and quiet. Upon arrival we’re told there was a leak and we had been placed in the other suite. While I do appreciate the hosts having us, it would have been nice to have been made aware of this prior to arrival as we would’ve chose to stay elsewhere. We had saw a bbq in the original listing we booked, but since we had to switch, had no access to bbq and couldn’t use any of the food we brought for the trip. The spot we were put was completely different from the original we booked, and was right beneath where the hosts lived, something we wanted to avoid. Unfortunately we weren’t offered a discount or anything of the sort. Hot tub could use a good clean. Breakfast both days was great.

We enjoyed are very private room and garden area. Sue and Chris were prompt with are amazing breakfasts. It was convenient for us for we leave for day located of main road easy access to any direction we plan to go. The Salt Spring Carriage House B & B is a fantastic home away from home! It is quiet and comfortable. If you're thinking that you need AC, you really don't because the suite stays cool and a fan is available. The breakfasts are fun and amazing! Each morning the light in the secret cupboard goes on and you are treated to the most delicious and filling breakfasts! Sue and Chris are amazing hosts who are available to answer any questions, if needed. Otherwise, it is a relaxing, peaceful and idyllic setting on Salt Spring Island. We can't wait to go back!
