Below I'll give a detailed review of the suite itself (all good) if you want the gritty details. But, what makes this VRBO special is the location: You're about a half mile walk from City Creek (restaurants, shopping, grocery), Temple Square & LDS Conference Center, and the light rail station! If you wanted to visit without a car, you can take the light rail to within a half-mile of this VRBO.
My review of the space --
First, the suite matched the photos! It feels suprisingly bright and spacious for a basement room. You enter from the back corner of the house (just steps from your assigned parking spot in the driveway). It is 5-6 stairs down. [Note to owners - a timer or sensor on the light by the steps would be a nice addition.]
Once inside there is a kitchen with a combo w/d and a small table with four stools. The kitchen has full size appliances and was very well equipped. I stayed for 5 days and couldn't think of anything that was missing.
The bathroom opens off this area as well. It was clean, bright, and offered lots of storage and towels. Shower was great with plenty of hot water.
Through the kitchen is the bedroom/living area. Bed was comfy with soft sheets. Two warddrobes for your clothes also offer some extra blankets and a space heater. I was there in January and used the space heater to supplement the forced-air heat - no complaints. I worked for a number of hours each day in the suite and the wifi was flawless.
