Leaving a review that can be damaging is something I don't take lightly. We were never able to even get in to the unit to stay here, and had to find a hotel in SLC on a Saturday night in December last minute. For some reason their system would not verify me. I spent time away from my family during our day to fix the issues, uploading, calling and texing my ID to the company. Support was awful, and very time consuming. We arrived at the unit an hour after check in after finally being sent the entry code and information and told all was well. The code did not work and after a phone call they told I that I was still not verified. I texted my ID and selfie to them as requested and still did not get help. With dinner plans on the line and our limited time we had to see and do what we had planned for the evening in SLC - I finally ask for a refund of the unit and quickly searched and booked a hotel for the night. They made it seem like a refund made sense and we moved on. One and a half hours later, they texted and said that the issues had been resolved and I could now enter the unit. I said, we have a hotel, just refund our stay for the night. Five hours later, and well past midnight in our hotel, I received an email stating that they would not be refunding out money. This put a lot of stress and frustration on our entire trip from the very first verification to the final email. I never heard from the owner, I have never had a problem on VRBO in 20 years.
