The first room I was given smelled as if it was smoked in. But the manager was very accommodating to give me another room that was basically an upgrade. I prefer a room that is carpeted over the hardwood floors that this property has. Oh well. And the property is a little too close to the freeway...there are no "quiet" rooms. With all due respect, another choice next time in Sacramento.

What a great stay!! Room was very clean! The staff were so helpful. It’s an older hotel but it kept up well! I definitely will stay here every time I’m in town! And the price for a holiday weekend was very reasonable!

Didn't know about the construction until I arrived and already checked in so it was extremely noisy beginning at 8am. Room smelled like someone had smoked cigarettes in it a lot before. I did my best to air it out. Otherwise average room in a convenient location.

Do not trust the pictures on Expedia, this is a roach motel. Staff was nice rooms were fair but dirty, our room looked like someone was trapped in there and was beating on the door to escape. No ice no convenience they have a pool and a hot tub but with no water in it. No amenities like a dining area wi-fi didn’t work. Wish I had my $193 a night back..
