Pet Friendly property?
The house was small but comfortable and clean. Updated kitchen and floors. Beds were not comfortable and small. The driveway is limited to having you either back in from the road or back out onto a busy 2 lane road with limited view because of bushes. That being said it was fine for us. The owner did allow us drive onto his grass so we could back into the drive safely. However I would not say this is a pet friendly property. The fencing is not dog proof and the house sits very close to the road that drivers speed on. We were very careful with our dogs and only allowed them in the yard under supervision for potty breaks. They texted us regularly the house rules that no dogs on furniture which we observed. The house only allows one dog and sadly I did not see that before booking. My mistake made for some uncomfortable moments between the owners and I. I feel we did everything they asked by paying a substantial amount more. But through continued contact they made us feel unwelcome. Some people make honest mistakes and we did in not completely reading the fine print. We were only at the house to sleep. We did not use any of the outside amenities such as fire pit, grills, etc. We took out the trash, stripped the beds, and ran the dishwasher leaving the house neat, clean and tidy as we found it. We picked up after the dogs each time. I'm sorry they felt we were taking advantage of them. I have stayed at many places that are truly pet friendly, this one is not.
