We (11 family members over 3 generations) stayed Christmas week 2025. The resort is a great location with plenty of room for both common gatherings and family unit time. Highly recommend the staff package as well. Excellent!

Rooms were clean, towels supplied, air in most bedrooms except 1 so we kept the door closed. We didnt realize the reason for the heat in the house is because the windows are screened and not glass. If all the windows were glass the air woukd stay in the house longer. We had the bedroom doors opened to cool the living room area where we spent most of our time. Orlando, known as Bruh, was excellent. He showed us around the property and introduced the chef. The property is definitely as stated and i would stay there again. Thank you Tony.

Family vacation

Property was a great size for all of us. Pool was amazing, we added the package which was great the food was delicious.I just wish the housekeeping would’ve been much more serious. Towels replenished, smelling clean would’ve been such a great touch. Changing bedding at least once during our 8 night stay would’ve made such a difference. Taking out trash daily, we were a large group and it would’ve been nice for that to happen without us asking for it.

Family vacation to Roatan

We rented the home from RVBO, known as The Dock Resort, for a week in late May. Our group of 19 consists mostly of family members and one family that is made up of good friends.The home was huge on the water in the West Bay area.We took advantage of the Staff Package. This gives us 2 excellent cooks and dishwashing service. We have 9 bedrooms. Our bartender and home manager" Block", took care of our drinks, which were priced at 1/2 the cost at a restaurant. The home provided us with a planning organizer "Roy". Who lined us up for various activities such as fishing, snorkeling and diving trips, zip lining and zoo trip, a day trip around the island, best of all, a sunset cruise which last over 4 hours, some snorkeling and fun in the water, unlimited drinks which they kept asking if we wanted another one. A very delicious dinner. Our group, which has had a yearly vacation trip together for about 12 years, all agreed this was our best vacation by far. The only bad thing was our flights being delayed and in one instance because Delta only had 2 agent at the ticketing booth to handle over 200 passengers, which the last 10 of my group were refused boarding because we needed to have our bags proceed 45 minutes before the flight time. The first agent was no help at all as we got to the ticket booth right at the time limited expired. Luckly for us the 2nd agent was very helpful and got our bags and us on the plane at a cost of 750. But at least we made the fligh

Fantastic property for 50th birthday

We traveled from the US to Roatan to celebrate my 50th birthday before Christmas 2024 and had a once in a lifetime vacation and stay at The Doc Resort. We were all complete blown away by the size and scope of the property. It took days to see it all and expertise all the nooks and crannies of this absolutely 1 in a million home. My wife and I have lived overseas and lived on the East cost, west coast and the Midwest. We have seen a lot of VRBO properties and stayed at dozens but this one was the best and we plan on returning as soon as possible. We were warmly greeted by Brah and staff with a wonderful welcome rum drink and settled into the property and were relaxed from the moment we got off the airport transfer. The property does not do the photos justice. It is enormous and there are cozy sections and social sections as everything in between. The process of signing up for tours and excursions was easy and fun. We chose to do the island tour. snorkeling (4 stops is an absolute MUST) and 4-wheeling. We also made an excursion out to the brewery and had a really fun time and enjoyed some amazing food and craft beer. The Doc resort was our favorite part of the trip, as it offered us an opportunity to relax, visit as a family, eat some amazing food (the 2 girls that prepared our meals all week were incredibly gifted), swim and even get some decent work outs in. We spent so much time in the pool, the hot tub, around the bar, We absolutely LOVED hanging out!

Wedding in Roatan

My family and I came to Roatan for a wedding and needed a place where we could all stay together (11 people). The Dock was the perfect spot! It was a beautiful place to stay in the middle of what can only be described as a jungle! I wish there had been a real beach front to swim from, but that's a small price to pay considering how many other activities there were. The staff was fantastic! They took care of our every need from scheduling shuttle buses to water taxis, along with great bartending and food! It was really a vacation - we didn't have to do anything! They washed our towels, cleaned the rooms, prepared our meals, made our drinks (alcoholic and non alcoholic) and even brought someone in to give us a rundown on all the excursions we could schedule! We chose snorkeling and zip lining! Everyone was so nice and professional and made sure we had a memorable trip! Book this resort .... you won't be sorry!

Anniversary trip

Not as advertised, make sure to ask the right questions

Staff knocked it out of the park and did the best they could with what they were able to work with, chef was fantastic. Period The not so good: There are NOT AC units in every bedroom as described and if there is one they absolutely struggle to maintain reasonable temps due to age and lack of function, there are NOT bathrooms for every two bedrooms as described, there is NOT ample hot water to shower with and aging bathroom fixtures did break and so did the water pump system during our stay. It was initially "patched up" and then the pump was sidelined and a line was run from another building to make the water and bathrooms work which was helpful and a solution after a few days of no bathroom availability. On average 50% of the lightbulbs throughout the property are either missing or just don't work. Common areas indoor have minimal airflow capability as most of the ceiling fans also don't work. The way that the bartender tallies the drinks is inaccurate and unclear when trying to settle at the end of the stay (cash only??) The Good; Airport taxi driver was great both ways, the pool is private and a great place to relax together all day. The drinks from the bar were tasty. The "light show" was pretty cool. Town is pretty close, although we spent WAY more in water taxis back and forth than it would have cost to rent a scooter per couple for an entire week. Could go on with more detail but ask for CURRENT pics and make sure you see before you reserve.

Two Thumbs Up for The Dock Resort!

The Dock Resort was an experience like we’ve never had before! We were pampered from arrival at the resort to our last day seven days later. This place comes with staff that provide excellent service the entire week from daylight to way past dark. The grounds manager and concierge, Bra, coordinated all the things we wanted to do and arranged quality local business owners for transportation/excursions that did not disappoint in any way. We were especially pleased with our excursion guy, Delroy Kirrington with The One & Only Royal Tours. The resort comes with two wonderful chefs, Gizelle and Jennifer, who cook three meals daily plus two snacks. They have really long days and are always smiling and helpful. Santos is the grounds keeper and stays busy keeping the grounds clean and beautiful. We found all services offered at The Dock were cash based, the staff’s pay, food purchase for the week, bar tab, taxis, the excursion company and tipping these excellent people. The only time we could use a charge card was at restaurants and souvenir shops when out and about. The one thing we were not prepared for was the heat. Some of the bedrooms were not air conditioned. The heat is tolerable with the fantastic pool there. The main room on the second floor with the pool table, kitchen and TV is not air conditioned. All in all, we’d recommend The Dock Resort as a GREAT experience and one you will be glad you booked!

The Best Place to Celebrate 40!

LOVED IT! We had a group of 8 and it was perfect! Bruh was outstanding and the food was great! Def get the staff package. You are only a 5 min water taxi ride away from West End and 8-10 from West Bay. We did have 2 power outages while there but that is to be expected. Every request we made was catered to without question - it was so so nice. We had a "lively" group and the staff took it all in good fun. We spent the majority of our time in the pool which was meticulously cared for. Every morning the grounds were raked, swept and sprayed for bugs. Aside from the service and ambiance, the massages are fantastic. Highly recommend. We also had a tour of the island and went to the animal sanctuary, brewery and rum distillery - which were all fantastic and we learned so much about the island and it's history. I wouldn't have chosen to spend my big birthday anywhere else. JUST BOOK IT! YOU WON'T REGRET IT!

The BEST vacation ever

Our extended family ( kids and grandkids)visited the dock for a vacation and to celebrate our 25th anniversary with a vow renewal. The house is charming ! We found ourselves spending most of our time around the pool area. Loved all the small seating areas to achieve privacy when wanted. I highly recommend the staff package. Brak took care of everything we needed, and Jesse is an amazing cook. Loved this place!

My favorite vacation!

It's hard to explain how amazing this place is. We had 7 adults, and 3 kids under 5. Everyone had a great time! While the house was fabulous, the star of this property is the pool and outdoor areas. I felt like I was in a jungle fairytale. The waterfall, palm trees, coconuts, all so beautiful. There is a hot tub, fire pit area, enormous 3 story dock, party barge, and numerous areas to relax on hammocks and outdoor lounges. We hired the staff who were lovely. Brah took great care of making our cocktails and they were huge! He even made virgin drinks for the kids. He also took everyone out on the barge for some snorkeling. Lucy and Giselle did a fantastic job cooking our meals. They were delicious. Since I didn't know how that was all going to work, I'll tell you. When you arrive you are given a menu with breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snack options. At that time, you'll tell them what days you will be there for what meals and you will tell them your preference for meals. Everyone will get the same meals and they serve you at the outdoor table on the dock. It was really great. Everyday we were brought our "snack" right to the pool, fried plantains, queso, cheese and crackers, fruit, steak kebobs, etc. We also took advantage of the kayaks and did some fishing. Caught some good fish right from the dock using raw shrimp. The boys enjoyed the cornhole game and one of them used the gym daily. This place is a dream and we can't wait to go back. I wish had room to write more!

Tony's Dock house resort is excellent. This was my 4th time staying on the island and by far the best place I have stayed. From the very beginning in making the reservation to the very end, Tony was always very quick and responsive to answering all my questions. There were 12 adults (6 couples) and all had plenty of room. The pool was amazing, and the Dock was super great to hang out on. Paddle board and kayaks were very easy to use and enjoy the area. We payed for the staff and chef (Sondra) which I think is a must, and she made great meals every time. Any questions or help, Brah took care of us immediately and was awesome. Gieselle was a big help and gave great massages too. You can not go wrong with this place and that's why we already booked for next year and can't wait to go back.

Stunning Private Property

We traveled with 13 people total, all adults. The property was gorgeous, though there are a lot of steps and uneven surfaces so should be considered for persons with any mobility issues. The main house featured two master suites with ensuite attached. One also had a side room which would be most ideal for children traveling with that couple since there was a glass door and curtains to separate the room. Below the main was three more sleeping areas (one main area bunk, one private queen, and another private bunk), though the main bunk room with kitchenette had to be walked through to access the others, so privacy was not ideal, and required several couples to share one bathroom. Above the main floor was a private room with queen bed access via a steep ladder from the kitchen or some winding stairs from the back of the property which required walking through another sleeping/living space, and sharing one bathroom. Another beautiful queen room was above these two, again requiring access through another bedroom, but had a large bathroom and closet, however also required an additional trip up a spiral staircase. The pool area was beautiful, and we utilized that space daily including the lounge chairs. There are many other amazing sitting spots to relax. We did the staff package which was well worth our meals being prepared and our own bartender on site! Brah and the staff were amazing! Get a massage as well! Kayak, relax, enjoy! Highly recommend if privacy is not priority!

Great trip to Roatán

We are a group of 6 couples that travel to different areas of the world together. Communication with Tony was amazing. Due to issues with weather and flights, our group got split up flying in, with one plane stuck in a holding pattern over Roatan for hours. Tony was arranging a shuttle for us and he was in constant communication with us to make sure that when we finally landed late at night, there was a shuttle there for us. Amazing communication!! We were greeted by brah at 1030 at night (he stayed to make sure we arrived safely) and he had drinks and tacos ready which was awesome after such a crazy travel day. We got the staff package which I highly recommend. Having Brah there to arrange water taxis/shuttles, bartend, and just simply arrange whatever you need was a life saver. When we went to town, we communicated with Brah via WhatsApp and Facebook and he was always available regardless of time to arrange shuttles back to the dock. He’s a great guy, and super helpful. The resort has a cool layout, and it is 100 percent yours to use, nobody else has access. Our mistake was too many excursions and not utilizing the resort amenities enough. Brah can take you on a pontoon boat to a great reef spot minutes away for fantastic snorkeling. My suggestion - utilize resort a lot, get out and meet great people of Roatan, and remember you are in less developed part of world, so not everything is perfect. Be flexible, you’ll have a great time!

Family Christmas on Roatan

Anthony was very responsive and helpful with all our needs prior to and during our stay. It was wonderful having the whole resort to ourselves. Kayaks, paddle boards, snorkeling equipment, pool table, weight/workout room, and a fantastic swimming pool were used by us all. We went with the staff package (only way to go). Brah, Lucy and Giselle made our stay a great one; the service and food was wonderful. Interestingly enough, out of the 14 of us that were there the no-see-ums only bothered five of us (but be prepared with bug repellent). Brah brought us out on the raft to snorkel and it was some of the best snorkeling we have ever done. All in all a “great” family vacation!!!

Beautiful private resort

We can't say enough good things about The Dock Resort! We'd like to thank Tony and his staff (Bra)for a wonderful stay at his piece of paradise! The staff was uber accommodating! The facilities are beautiful and clean! The dock resort is surrounded by beautiful lush vegetation, the pool is perfect for lounging and the dock is an excellent place to catch a breeze. The nearby snorkeling is the best! We are a family of 12 and we all had ample private space. Definitely get the staff package! I would definitely recommend The Dock Resort for your group stay!

Anthony is amazing. We did get the package chef snd staff who were wonderful! The food excellent! Always willing to go above and beyond. We took our children and grandchildren (14 total) for my husbands 65th birthday . The place is unique and just beautiful. We would highly recommend this beautiful resort!!!

Dreamy house/resort

The mix of jungle, mangroves, and water on this property was fantastic! The beautiful pool, waterfall, jacuzzi, gym, massage room, and all-day bar was everything we were craving for our Roatan experience. The staff and Tony were amazing, they made our stay just perfect, and we hope to come back!

We had a wonderful time at The dock resort! Staff package is the only way to go. Everyone was friendly, helpful and so enjoyable to be around. Thank you Tony for always being so responsive and quick to respond. We also loved our sweet guard dog ❤️

A little slice of heaven.

The pictures really does not do this place justice! From the moment we walked in we were literally in awe with its beauty! Tony is an amazing host, and but Bra is the man with the plan and has all the answers anyone could need. Literally anything we wanted or needed all we had to do was ask and the problem was solved. I would highly recommend the staffing package but honest we did not eat a lot of the food. There was nothing wrong with it we just didn’t stay at the dock resort during the day long enough to wnjoy all the meals Overall though amazing stay! We will definitely be back.

Great stay for a large group-amazing snorkeling

Tony and his staff did a nice job of taking care of us, handling our needs, requests, food choices, entertainment , options to do excursions, etc. Be sure to book the staff package. The facilities were clean, organized, well stocked, adequately maintained, and the help was timely and catered to all of us. We utilized the facilities to the full extent with the pool(vb and floaties), kayaks, barge(great snorkeling), exercise equipment, and their expertise. The food was good, and they catered to our menu choices, and overall was economical, but the cost was not well communicated and that was confusing. (Probably the only thing I would improve on) If I had the choice of going there again with a similar sized group, I would definitely recommend and do it again. So my review is quite favorable.
