Relaxing Lake Getaway

We had an amazing stay at this peaceful lake cabin on Lake Wateree! The cabin was clean, quiet, and fully stocked with everything we needed. We spent our days paddle boarding, jet skiing, and enjoying beautiful sunset pontoon boat rides. Fishing off the dock was a highlight—especially catching lots of catfish! Highly recommend for a relaxing and fun lake escape!

Kitchen sink area was quite dirty. It was also advertised to have two full bathrooms. The master bath toilet had a note on it to not defecate in it or it might clog. I asked the owner how close was the electric to the dock for my boat, he told me 20 feet. It was about 100 feet from where the boat is docked and I had to go get another extension cord to be able to reach. The pictures of the laundry room where the washer and dryer was is deceiving because it was a shed at the opposite end of the house outside.

Upon entering the cabin, it wreaked horribly. The cabin was not clean, the carpet was nasty and there were mice droppings in the kitchen drawers, in the cabinet, and on the counter. The place was a health hazard and we did not stay. Requested a refund. The pictures posted do not represent what the inside truly looks like. Do not recommend at all. When brought to the owners attention, he said he could not refund my money. Contacted VRBO and after submitting photos, was able to get a refund.
