Let me start by saying that most of my complaints are directed at the Vacasa management company, not the owners. However, there are some things I think the owners should address... the house was nicely updated and decorated, but with wear and tear over time some things are in need of attention: many stains on the rugs, kitchen chairs, and sofas were noted. The outdoor furniture smelled bad. The extra blankets in the closet were badly stained and some were smelly. There were (food?) stains on some of the walls.
Pros:
HVAC was great
All appliances seem new and worked well
House appears to be recently renovated and has nice decor
House was pretty clean (other than dish issue)
Location to the beach and food was great
Nice, quiet street
Outdoor shower
Well stocked with essentials
Cons:
-Upon leaving, we saw an old dish pod was left in the dishwasher meaning it probably wasn't started by the previous guests and the cleaning staff put away dirty dishes from the dishwasher, which we then used during our stay. We had noticed that many of the dishes in the cabinets had bits of food on them and did not seem clean. Disgusting! When bringing this to Vacasa's attention they responded "sorry for the inconvenience" and asked if we had started the dishwasher. When paying just shy of $2500 for a 3 night stay, I would expect better customer service than that!
-There was no sheet on top bunk and comforter was left balled up
-Front door was unlocked upon arrival
-Stained rugs, furniture, etc.
