Give this place a try!

We found the Triangle Inn as a highly rated last-minute option online... I was hopeful based on reviews and pictures, but my husband was skeptical (with the worry that I had just found us some sketchy old motel featuring shady characters and bed bugs, lol). We would totally stay here again and give our recommendation! We easily got the door code/ checkin information and added our dog to the reservation. We got into town late after a long day on the road, carefully inspected the room, and found that it was indeed everything positive we'd hoped for! Clean, thoughtfully stocked, super cute and comfortable. We all slept great. We do travel with a sound machine to make sure our littles (age two and four) aren't easily woken, so that probably helped with any traffic sounds or other guest arrivals we might have heard; but it was a private-feeling, comfortable setting for the area. My parents stayed in a more expensive "brand name" hotel nearby and had a terrible experience there between the customer service and parking lot passerbys... they would have moved to ours if only there had been any available rooms. We were really only disappointed that the PNW weather seemed to follow us down, so we didn't get to use the pool! Don't miss the cute garden/patio area down between the buildings. Loved seeing the labor of love that these business owners have clearly put into revamping an old building and giving their guests a good experience.

Coming back to my home town for a family reunion; my local relatives were shocked we had booked the “old Triangle Motel”. Let’s just say that back in the day the Triangle left a lot to be desired. But after reading all the positive reviews about the newly made over property, we decided to go for it. So glad we did! Very cute and simple rooms, extremely clean; efficient digital check in; local soap products, comfortable beds, well sized mini fridge, pour over coffee with electric kettle, wine opener provided. Ice and free popsicles available. Cute patio/pool area we didn’t have the opportunity to use. Convenient parking right outside your room. Will definitely stay again when we come back to town. And the price was great too!

The motel was updated really nicely with lots of room and tastefully decorated ala mid-century modern style. The room was super clean, had a cool retro style mini fridge, nice coffee maker and it even had a white noise machine! The concrete walls were solid and really kept the noise out. Loved that it was so conveniently located off the freeway but away from the main street a bit. Check in was super easy and great communication with Erin. She sent the check-in info and a link which included things to do in the area, restaurants, shops, etc. Also they have dog friendly rooms!! If you're in the Red Bluff area, I would highly recommend this place!!

Wonderful little gem

The Triangle motel is a delightful little surprise of a spot. We were driving from LA to Eugene and I didn't want to stay in a rundown place and I luckily found this motel. Erin, the owner, texted me all the check in details, so we just showed up and got right into our room. The room was recently renovated, super cute and very clean. Id absolutely stay here again

Wonderful Experience! Clean, Safe, & Private! My stay in February 2025 at the beautifully renovated Triangle Motel in Red Bluff, California could not have been better. The Triangle Motel is right off of I-5 so it is convenient for travelers. It is well marked and easy to find. However, you would never think it was right off of a busy interstate because of its quiet, safe, and private location. The rooms are so cool. They are accented with solid pine doors and pine woodwork. The windows with old-time cranks actually open and lock close (when was the last time you stayed someplace where the windows actually opened). The bed was super comfy and the pillows heavenly. The HVAC was very effective and quiet. The nicely painted block walls keep your room silent – no dinging elevators, slamming doors, clanking ice machines, noisy neighbors, etc. The Triangle Motel has one floor only so you will not be listening to “thunder foot” above your head all night. Because the room was so quiet (and the motel was full), my corgi slept throughout the night. A first! The walk-in shower has a rain showerhead so that was fun. It is a dog friendly motel with a nice grassy area to walk your dog. There's so much more to say about this friendly, clean, nicely renovated motel. Bottom Line: It's a GREAT find!
