My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Plaza Yara. Mauriel and Caleb made us feel right at home and were very friendly, professional, and helpful; both of them gave us great tips on where to go and helped us book a couple of excursions. The other staff, including our server in the restaurant, were also very pleasant and professional. The room was very spacious and clean, and the breakfast each day was delicious. The pool area was also clean and very relaxing. We were able to see scarlet macaws, a toucan, and monkeys right from the hotel. The mosaics throughout the hotel and art gallery in the lobby were beautiful and fun to look at. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The staff was so nice and helpful, especially Muriel with all of his tips and recommendations. The place was even nicer than the photos. Better in person. Wildlife at our doorstep. Impecco clean, coffee, sugar and milk in the room Well appointed rooms. We rented the 2 bedroom house that had a beautiful outdoor patio. We highly recommend.we will be back.we loved the small, boutique style gallery and the free breakfast was delicious and a wonderful find. Muriel was truly a gem

Pulling up to this hotel on the street you would never guess how lovely a property it is. The rooms are huge, the view from the lanai/porch in the room towards the back of the property is beautiful, and the staff, particularly the front desk staff, are extremely warm, welcoming and knowledgeable. We had a wonderful two night stay and would highly it recommend it to other travelers.

We had an amazing stay here. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the amenities were great. Every morning, you order breakfast and it’s made to order and delicious. The pool area was quiet and peaceful, surrounded by lush greenery. We spent a good amount of time reading and swimming! The staff was helpful, attentive, and friendly. We had the best time here and will come back and stay again soon!

Our room was much nicer than I had expected. The hotel overall is beautifully kept up and very clean; the staff were all friendly and helpful. And the reviews were correct that you can just sit and look out the back and see lots of birds, monkeys, etc. Not all the time, of course, but if you sit and look, they will show up. We loved our stay.

This hotel is absolutely stunning. The staff were remarkably friendly. The art is vibrant and alive with Costa Rican culture. We arrived early and we were greeted with luggage storage, restroom facilities, and absolute kindness. Our room was very spacious and decorated with modern beauty. We had a private balcony with pool access. The pools were clean with sparkling water. The breakfast cooked to order was delicious and had large portions. The only con to staying at this beautiful place is Expedia was wrong about the location. It is 3.5 miles from Manuel Antonio Park, not a 5 min walk. And the road out front can be a bit intimidating with the copious traffic heading to the park and gorgeous public beach. I will stay here again.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had an amazing experience from start to finish. The staff were warm and welcoming. My room was spacious, comfortable and beautifully maintained. The location made it incredibly convenient to explore the area. The overall atmosphere was calm, inviting and truly relaxing. We stayed at three different places in Costa Rica - Manuel Antonio, Monteverde, and La Fortuna. We loved this place the best. The breakfasts are AMAZING!!! We say monkeys, a sloth, lizards, and scarlet macaws, all from the hotel.

Fabulous stay at Hotel Plaza Yara

Had an amazing stay here. Convenient location to both Quesop and Manuel Antonio via local bus or taxi. Staff were friendly and really helpful. Room was spacious and comfortable. Bonus to have a little kitchenette area with a microwave, coffee machine and fridge. Lovely pool and rainforest view from the balcony. Managed to see some wildlife whilst relaxing by the pool including, sloths, toucans and monkeys. Would definitely stay here again. Breakfast was tasty too
