First time I stayed in December I was given a drinks voucher. Have since stayed the last two weeks and none given.
Two bags of crisps and two bottles of water are in the room on arrival but I have been told that they are not replaced until the third day. This week my room did not have water or crisps. The receptionist brought water but said she couldn’t find the crisps. I was offered a drinks voucher or 10% of a meal.
I did not accept either as I was eating out and driving.
Not sure if auto close doors need adjusting on some rooms or if it’s ignorant guests slamming doors late at night and early hours of the morning.
My door seemed fine.
Not sure what it will be like yet to stay in summer as there is no aircon.
Breakfast is good although I think the warmers were not switched on one day last week as the hot food wasn’t hot food.
I stayed here first about 11 years ago and is wasn’t the best. Run down. So I used the premier inn until I gave this place another look. Some money has been spent upgrading the rooms and it’s so much better than before.
