This is now our second time staying here. The first time I didn’t review as I thought i would give them one more try. The rooms are clean and ok. Bed is comfortable compared to some I have had in Mexico. It’s nice having a balcony area. And a nice large shower with a seat. But both times we have stayed, the liquid soap containers at the sinks were almost completely empty. I don’t like bar soap so I prefer to use the liquid soap. The pool area is larger as it’s the roof, but if there are many staying you will struggle to find a seat around the pool. It’s also very shallow. Food is better than some I have had, I would recommend their chicken wings as they did those very well. However I find this hotel to be incredibly loud. Thru the night there was a consistent loud banging as if someone was doing construction well into 3am. Across the road at the time we were there was a fair so that was also loud thru the night. The air conditioning in the room, quite loud as well. Then there is the road noise. My goodness! We stayed on the 1st guest floor which is like the 4th or 5th floor and also the 3rd guest floor which would be about the 6-7th floor. Both heard major road noise. The upstairs pool plays super loud club music. Now normally I’m not a major stickler for sound as I know Mexico can be a bit on the higher decibel side…however I’m making this review as I found it exceedingly loud more than anywhere else I have stayed. If you’re doing one or two nights, might not be so bad.
