I have enjoyed many stays at this Sleep Inn over the past several years but this last stay was incredibly awful!
I had just unpacked and before heading to a family event used the sink and discovered after running the water for 15 minutes there was “NO” hot water! I called the front desk and was told there had been a problem getting hot water to rooms at the far end of the building and there would be no hot water until they could figure it out… I asked him if he had know there would be no hot water in my room when he gave me the keys and he said “yes”. I asked him if management made him assign rooms they knew there would be no hot water in and he said “yes” without looking at me. If I hadn’t discovered the problem until the next morning when I tried to shave and shower it would have ruined my schedule. He reassigned me a new room and I had hot water. So, beware and check your hot water here before you unpack!
However the WORST part of my stay began when I was jolted awake at 1:00 AM by the slamming of doors, music and worst of all graphic sex that went on until after 3:00 AM! I’ve never heard anything like it! It was pleasure and pain and went on and on and on!
Maybe it’s a case of you get what you pay for… I’ve enjoyed many stays at this lodging but I think I’ll spend a bit more at a different place and see if I get a better experience. Maybe they should change the name to “Awake Inn”…
