The best part of our 3 night stay was Tim Hopkins, the breakfast cook, who seemed to be a one man show. Very polite, respectful and willing to stop everything to give one all his attention! Type of service that is very rare these days! If I had my business still, I would definitely hire him in a heartbeat. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same for the rest of our stay. Very strong odor of marijuana whole top floor, Loose shower head cover, broken lock and loose toilet seat (both fixed same day as check in), pulled out outlet, sliding shower door would not close without having to lift door up. Very worried heavy glass door would fall off hinges. Lastly and most disappointing was that our room was cleaned once out of our three night stay, and that was due to me having to ask and front desk man was not too nice about me asking. Will not stay at best western again.

Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Gave my kids some glow sticks to play with in the pool so they can dive and have more fun in the pool. Also, the guy in charge of the breakfast was AMAZING!! He let us come in right at close and he allowed us to sit down and finish our breakfast. I’ve never been in a hotel where they were so accommodating- kudos to you!! This made our stay! I would’ve given higher stars, however the bathroom looked like it could’ve been nice with the tile arrangement but the finish grout (black) work was not easy on the eyes and it made the bathroom feel dirty. Other than that we had a nice stay.

Nice place not being kept well

The room was more dirty than the cheaper rooms we had been staying in. One of the beds was rigged and was so loud it kept everyone up all night. There was a lot of bird poop in the pool area. The breakfast was very limited and Mr. Loafers at the front desk didn't seem to care about any of it. For the price I was surprised and disappointed in the stay overall.

Trash cans around the building were overflowing and smelled like rotting food. The entire interior of the building smelled bad. There were a couple rooms with doors left propped open and dozens of empty alcohol bottles laying around them, and a man walking in and out of one barefoot and shirtless (definitely didn't feel comfortable letting our teenage daughters leave our room alone). One employee's children were racing up and down the stairs while she worked. There's no elevator. The halls clearly hadn't been vacuumed in a long time. If we hadn't past the refund deadline, we would have gone somewhere else. I wish all the employees well and have no complaints about them personally, but as a hotel chain, this has changed our view of Best Westerns forever, and we're sharing our experience in case it helps future travelers as they seek a clean, safe place.

The hotel in and of itself was OK for what we needed. However, we chose this hotel because it claimed to have a beautiful swimming pool and it was very very hot day. What we got was nothing like advertised and we couldn’t even use it which was very disappointing. I was also under the impression that this was in the low 100s per night assuming I was only gonna pay about 200 to 25 total instead I was charged $318. I’m not typically someone who complains about anything, but this was very disappointing.

We stayed here because of location and availability of 3 separate beds. The hotel is tired. We were in 215 and the shower door was off track. The breakfast was adequate and had one of those pancake machines. Staff were friendly. Lots of trucks and doesn’t feel safe to walk in the area. There is nothing to walk to in the area anyway. Beds seemed clean. Halls felt really dark. So a decent place to sleep, but not linger.
