Stay away

Drunks outside of window every night till at least 3am. Room was not prepared or cleaned when we checked in. Shower head needs to be held in one hand to prevent it from spaying whole bathroom. Water must be turned off to apply soap/shampoo. Bed has very little padding. We were glad to leave.

Property was ideally located and quiet. Breakfast had excellent range of food and excellent staff. Room very tired and needs a good deep clean, pool closed for refurbishment which we were not informed about. I would only rate at 3 star maximum

If you like being ripped off, Hotel Julis is the place for you. They put pool photos in their Expedia page despite NOT HAVING A POOL. They list a pool as an amenity and there are other amenities that are listed that they charge you for. But you have to go off the property and pay 10 euros for the pool that they don't have. My safe didn't work. They said they'd fix it but didn't. The room was not very clean. It's not a nice property on any level. But the lying and gaslighting is the worst.

I stayed at this hotel with my brother for four nights to celebrate his birthday in Prague. The location is fantastic – right in the heart of Wenceslas Square, with plenty of bars, shops, cafes and restaurants within walking distance. However, be aware that this area can be a bit touristy, and some places might charge higher prices for food and drinks compared to other parts of the city. The hotel room was spacious and spotless. The staff were generally friendly and helpful, but one staff member seemed a bit unfriendly after we checked out. They wouldn't let us use the toilet and questioned how long we planned to store our baggage, given our late flight that night. It was a minor issue, though, and overall, I'd recommend this hotel for its great location and comfortable rooms.

Manager tried to blame a pipe leak in the unit below on our room and attempted to charge €200 for the repair. Desk guy proceeded to curse at us and demand €200. Great location but would not recommend staying here if you don’t like paying for faulty hotel infrastructure.

Good, neat and clean rooms and a well maintained property at very convenient location. The breakfast was also very good with good options. However, the rooms are not sound proof and it gets noisy specially in the morning. Moreover, the pool is not covered in the room rent which was not mentioned before and you have to pay extra to avail the facility on per day basis.

Another weekend trip

We were redirected to EA Julis from original booking, slight inconvenience due to parking situation, but location was well worth the change. Directly in the middle of the Winter market, lots to do, easy walking.
