A wonderful experience

Our extended family stayed in the Hemlock and Cedar Suites. The accommodation was perfect for our families; the kitchen and living areas were very well equipped and large enough for us all and the beds were very comfortable. The location in the water is gorgeous- and the beach fire was a bonus. Thank you Sean and Jennifer.

Seaside luxury

This suite was amazing with gorgeous oceanfront view. Everything there was top notch quality. Lots of special touches to make our stay memorable. Perfect place to decompress. We saw otters, eagles, black tail deer, seals and dolphins while sipping amazing BC blackberry and blueberry wine on the front deck. The sauna and hot tub were also wonderful. Jennifer and Sean were the best hosts. It doesn’t get any better than that !! Thank you for making our stay amazing for a very much needed trip away.

Great place to storm watch

We three ladies of a certain age wanted a place where we could relax and work on sewing projects. This house fit the bill perfectly. Very clean, comfortable and with every modern appliance that one could want. The view was spectacular and it was just warm enough to sit on the deck for happy hour. We loved it! Thank you, Jennifer.

A lovely home in a beautiful location

This is one of the best properties we have stayed at. It is a lovely and efficient home with a very well-equipped kitchen in a gorgeous setting. One wants for nothing there. I think I can safely say that the owners have thought of everything. One does need a car to get around as there is much to do in the area. Powell River has some very good restaurants. Stunning Views

We cannot say enough good things about Arbutus Cove Resort. The Hemlock Suite had amazing views of the bay, islands and snow capped mountains on Vancouver Island. There was a rocky beach with a hot tub and sun deck right in front. The space was skillfully designed and well-appointed. We watched humpback whales and seals from the expansive deck. We will definitely stay again!

A paradise visted!

We have just had a most enjoyable stay at Sean and Jennifer’s beautiful property. Lovely hosts who pay attention to all the details. Quiet, beautiful, water views from the entire back side of the house and expansive deck. Morning coffee and evening sips of wine-lovely! Kitchen is well equipped. Beds and linens comfortable and good quality. We are sure to stay again one day. Thank you for sharing your home with travellers!

Family Day Weekend

Absolute Perfection on the Powell Riviera!

Sean and Jenny’s place is incredible and hands down the best property we’ve ever stayed in. Amazing views, really well equipped for cooking, comfortable beds, and direct access to the water. We really appreciated being able to use their paddle boards and kayaks, loved going from the ocean to the hot tub and back, and throughly enjoyed lounging on the Muskoka chairs to soak up the sun and watch the sunsets. Seeing whales (so many whales!), seals, and sea lions from the patio was a definite highlight, but more than anything being in a space that was so thoughtfully designed and outfitted with everything we needed made the week so easy and relaxing. Great location. Perfectly clean. Quiet and private. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay. We are already planning our next trip back!

Whales, whales whales

Our family had an absolutely delightful experience during our stay at this VRBO property. The stunning ocean views from the deck were simply mesmerizing, and we felt incredibly fortunate to have witnessed humpback whales feeding and leaping out of the water on both days of our visit. The property itself, along with the house, was exceptionally well-appointed, ensuring our utmost comfort throughout our stay. The hosts were exceptionally gracious, further enhancing our overall enjoyment, and we are eagerly looking forward to the opportunity to book this VRBO again for future vacations.

Beautiful spot on the coast

A wonderful location, overlooking the ocean. The suite was spacious, artfully furnished and decorated, with a remarkably well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and many thoughtful touches. We loved sitting out on the deck watching for whales, and hearing them late at night out on the water. The salt water hot tub on the beach was a perfect way to relax at the end of the day. The hosts Sean and Jenny were helpful and responsive. We’d definitely recommend a stay at this little gem on the coast.

Magical.

We booked three nights while attending my sister's wedding in Lund - where we grew up. This was the perfect little place for us as we came/went to enjoy wedding events. Highlights: Quiet & private with the lovely ocean breeze. We enjoyed coffee and champagne on the balcony. Those sunrises & sunsets are a dream. Our little pooches enjoyed their morning beach strolls... We also loved arriving to soft music playing & sparkling wine at our doorstep. The owners were available as needed. The property is beautifully furnished & the beds are cozy/comfy. Our six-and-a-half year old daughter was sad to depart - she loved her stay as well. Thank you, S&J.

Ocean Lullaby

LOVED staying at this property! The oceanfront location was beautiful, and the waves lapping at the shoreline was our lullaby to dreamland every night as we lay in bed in the ocean front bedrooms. Sean and Jennie, our hosts were exceptional! Friendly and willing to help in any way, and were very welcoming to our family dog, Ollie! We stayed here for the Kathaumixw festival which was only a 10 minute drive away into the town of Powell River. The festival kept us extremely busy and wished we were able to stay here longer to enjoy all that the property had to offer such as more R&R on the beach. The deck was a wonderful place for evening sundowners! We would definitely stay here again.
